DC-227 Fall 1919 Adjudication - TheWhiteWolf   (Jun 03, 2009, 4:24 pm)
All,
The EGIT proposal fails, but there's more! An EGT draw has been proposed. Please vote by the winter deadline, which will be a few days from now (after Autumn).
England and Germany swap centers, Germany and Turkey annexall remaining former Austrian territory, and Jeff fails to hold out in Moscow.
We say a fond farewell to the man who saved us from a 9 center CD Russia. Thanks for sticking with us, Jeff. As always, an EOG statement is not required, but would be appreciated.

DC-227 Adjudication in the Morning - TheWhiteWolf   (Jun 03, 2009, 1:00 am)
Folks,
Assuming the storm heading our way doesn't knock out power, I'll put out the adjudication first thing tomorrow. I had all orders on time (thank you all very much,) but it was a somewhat busy day in the Wolf household.
Thanks for your patience, and I'm sorry to be the sticking point this season.

DC-227 Spring 1919 Adjudication - TheWhiteWolf   (May 27, 2009, 4:02 pm)
All,
Both end-game votes have failed due to "no" votes. However, a new end-game proposal has been put forward - an EGIT. Please vote with your Fall orders.
England and Germany bounce in the Gulf of Bothnia, causing giant bounce chains for both countries. Elsewhere, Russia stands strong against a joint E/G assault, Italy loses a unit to German aggression, and France loses ground to England.

DC-227 Deadline Imminent - TheWhiteWolf   (May 26, 2009, 4:01 pm)
Folks,
I'm disturbed by the lack of orders and end-game votes I've received. Remember, the end-game states that have been proposed for this turn are a solo concession for England and a draw including all survivors.
I'm breaking from my standard nondisclosure here to make things obvious.

I am missing orders from:
England
France
Germany
Italy
Turkey

I am missing end-game votes from:
England
Germany
Italy
Russia
Turkey

If you don't vote, it counts as a "No" vote. If you don't submit orders, you will NMR. You have 22 hours.

DC-227 Winter 1918 Adjudication - TheWhiteWolf   (May 21, 2009, 3:22 pm)
All,
Armies and fleets are build in equal number, while one army is disbanded. Thanks for getting them all in on time.
Two End Game proposals are on the table: a concession to an English solo, and a DIAS (Draw Includes All Survivors.) Please vote on both by the order deadline. Failure to vote is an NMR and will count as a "no". However, you may inform me that you wish to abstain from one or both of the votes (but you need to inform me!)

All,
I got Mark's order late last night, but it was a little too late for me to try to put out an adjudication. Sorry about that.
We officially say goodbye to Matt, who held on valiantly until the bitter end. Matt, if you wish to submit an EOG, you may do it publicly or to me, and you're free to either hold off until the game's over or submit it now, at your leisure.

DC-227 Fall 1918 Adjudication - TheWhiteWolf   (May 18, 2009, 10:26 pm)
All,
We got all orders in this time! Sorry I'm putting this out late - had to help some friends take care of a bit of business.
Our French player made a minor flub which cost him a center and a unit; Germany made some big grabs, nearly uncontested; and the entire Balkan land region remained static. A bit of sea movement in the south leaves Italy with a retreat - I'd like that as soon as possible, so see below for options.

My apologies to you all. I was wrong. I wasn't given an NMR received because Wolf hadn't gotten my orders in time (as I first thought) but, instead, because I neglected to put the game number down. The game rules are very clear and the mistake was mine. I'll continue to play (in my diminished capacity) until the bitter end. Maybe I can provoke a war between England and Turkey over my last remaining province. Nonetheless, I apologize to you all, and especially Wolf, for my error. I suppose it is like the real world where a simple error changes the dynamics of everything. Luck to you all. Jeff

Not sure why if the orders were sent in a timely fashion that they would not be valid and a redo of the turn would occur. I too submitted uncomfotably close to the deadline. Rgds, Michael

All,
I'm sad to say that our new Russian, Jeff, failed to submit orders. This means another NMR on the eastern edge of the board. Jeff, if you're still with us, you need to let me know within 24 hours. I'll replace you if I don't hear from you by then.
The NMR was devastating to Russia, as he's taken from six units to two in a single turn. Therefore, if Jeff fails to contact me within the allotted time, Russia will go into civil disorder for the remainder of the game (as per my House Rules.)
In other news, we face our first elimination this turn, as Austria's last holdout is disbanded. Matt's only possible salvation is the unlikely possibility of Italy vacating Budapest next turn. Thanks for tenaciously sticking with us, Matt. I look forward to seeing you in future games.

Subject: RE: DC-227 Spring 1918 Adjudication

Nick:

It's funny that in your public e-mail you said that you'd gladly concede the Russian territories to England, but in your other email you said that you could use the supply centers from Russia to build armies and thwart German advances while diminishing the power accumulation of England, or at least I thought that's what you said..

DC-227 Deadline Reminder - TheWhiteWolf   (May 04, 2009, 11:20 pm)
Folks,
Deadline for Winter 1917 is in less thank 15 hours. I'm still missing two sets. Remember, failing to submit winter adjustments still counts as an NMR, and it will still potentially get you ejected from the game.

NOTE: It's been my standard to push the retreats if there is only one option per unit, and I've done so again this turn (disbanding one Russian army due to the lack of retreat-available spaces.) If anyone is at all uncomfortable with that, due to the sheer number of retreats or the fact I chose a disband, please let me know and I'll step back a bit. Also, if Mark or Jeff would prefer that a retreat I pushed be sent OTB instead, please let me know by Monday afternoon.
