Stonehenge - jerome777   (Mar 06, 2012, 8:32 am)
Come on you guys, there´s still a position open as the Picts in our Stonehenge variant!

Drop me an email and I´ll put you into this thrilling and rarely-run variant, where you can give the Vikings and Charlemagne a run for their money...!

Ah wouldn't you just know it. I finally fill the game queue after a month of trying, and then the very next day another player comes along to fill the post!

Thanks for the offer Max. I've asked the 9 original players to reconfirm that they're still happy to play in this game, given the fact the game was frozen for so long. If any of these players needs to drop out, then I'll gladly drop you back in. Otherwise, thanks for your help - but you'll need to wait for the next Stonehenge game to be launched.

I'm hoping someone else offers to GM a game of Stonehenge soon. I'd love to play in that variant... Wink

Hi Max,

All of the players have now checked in with me. Sorry about that.

Hopefully a new Stonehenge game will get put onto the site soon.

Stonehenge still recruiting - jerome777   (Feb 22, 2012, 3:56 pm)
Hi everyone,

A spot has opened up to play as the Picts in the Stonehenge game on the dc site. Come and show that pesky Charlemagne how it's done...!

Sign up now in the open games section. I'll be allowing plenty of time for you to get to know your new enemies before the first Spring moves of the game.

dc415 Stonehenge Picts place open - jerome777   (Feb 19, 2012, 4:02 pm)
Hi everyone,

An opening has arisen in dc415 Stonehenge, to play as the Picts in this fascinating variant. There is an excellent and varied field of players, and we have yet to get to the first deadline (Spring 851). There will be time for our valiant replacement to get to know the other players before the revised first deadline.

Please drop me an email if you would like to join our game, first-come-first-served.

Replacement Germany sought! - jerome777   (Feb 07, 2012, 1:23 pm)
Hi everyone,

A replacement Germany is needed to replace the player that has dropped out after the Autumn 1901 moves, but before the Winter 1901 adjustments.

Germany is in a very playable position here, though there'll need to be some Diplomacy before the builds to work out the best way for all seven players to proceed. Therefore I'll give plenty of time for you all to get to know one another before the Winter 01 deadline.

If you'd like to take up the role, please drop me a line.

Best,

jerome777

I have a 2-center Germany which is nonetheless crucially situated between the larger Austrian and English empires. I require the services of a gallant Centurion from the Light Brigade (or a gallant soldier of fortune from outside the Light Brigade) to take over the reins.

The game page is:

You can download a .dpy if you like.

OK so I've found a new Russia, unsurprisingly it wasn't too difficult as Russia is in a pretty good position. Still looking for a new Turkey, however - so if you fancy playing the Sultan, please give me a shout!

Hi everyone,

Yes, it's me again! Another opening has now appeared in the dc384 game, this time for Russia. Russia is in an eminently playable condition, and a commission in the Light Brigade awaits whomever is willing to take up the mantle with this Power.

Standard rules, one major season per week (deadlines 2000GMT Sunday evenings).

If you've any questions, please shout.

I have an English player whose real life is unfairly restricting his Diplomacy life. The position is pretty decent heading into Fall 1904. Before volunteering to take it over, you may wish to review the history so as to best position yourself.

The game is DC 373:

Anyone want an easy game to cover?  My guess it's a Turk solo in 4 years if led by the right diplomat.

From Penner...

Looking for someone to take a 4-centre Turkey with Russia and Austria breathing down its neck. With that kind of sales job, how can you say no?  Current map... http://www.diplomaticcorp.com/hgames/dc372031.gif
