I don't mean to quibble with Derek -- and I am away from my home computer, so I will have to doublecheck it later -- but I am certain my  orders included MUN to hold and TYS to support the A NAfr to TUS. Amazing what random data get lost in transmission as the game goes on.

I have to confess I was sorely tempted to stab France one last time, and retake Tunis this past turn. But I decided I owed him for his later help in recent turns, it would have been overkill once I was assured of taking MOS, and besides, when we weren't fighting each other, Frank was good ally... Although I am sure Sigvold might have enjoyed the final irony had I done so to France.  My apologies again to Sigvold, that I wasnt able to do much to help him survive longer, as my fleets were not in place soon enough.

I enjoyed the significance of winning with MOS capture, as that is where I recall AH first stabbed me. Plus it vindicated my despatch of the Black Sea squadron fleet to the Turkey area, to have F Black Sea deal the killing blow to cut SEV support.

My thanks too to Derek for his masterful hand over the proceedings, and to everyone for a well fought [and patient!] game.  I expect I will take a break for a while, but look forward to seeing some or all of you again in future games....

Remarkable: England and Austria forgot to order units in APU, MUN, and
TYS - all key locations for the end game - and still England got its
18th SC.

My congratulations to both of you. England for your Solo and Austria
for making the victory such a challenge.
Thanks to you both for your strong play throughout the end.

Derek, thanks for GMing. This definitely was a game with a lot of
twists and turns.

I'll write my EOG later.

Thanks to everyone for playing and following through to the end.  Sorry for my minor errors along the way.

Would love to hear all of your thoughts on the game.

Ted

Remarkable: England and Austria forgot to order units in APU, MUN, and
TYS - all key locations for the end game - and still England got its
18th SC.

My congratulations to both of you. England for your Solo and Austria
for making the victory such a challenge.
Thanks to you both for your strong play throughout the end.

Derek, thanks for GMing. This definitely was a game with a lot of
twists and turns.

I'll write my EOG later.
Frank

So sorry to all of you for my glitchy winter.  Austria actually noticed the mistake with his builds and the retreat mistake right away last Thursday.. but for some reason yahoo suddenly decided that his e-mails were spam after a nearly a year of getting them... not sure why.  But anyway.

As noted before England retreats Ank to the Black sea.

Austria's builds are A Vie, A Bud, and F Tri.

Both draw proposals fail.  The game continues.

We we set the deadline for spring 2018 to be next Monday June 20th at 4:00 PM US Eastern time,

Will send out the map tonight.

Can retreat Fleet Ank to Bla.  England let us know which option you would like.

Also as a heads up I will be away possibly without internet access until Sunday.  So I may not be able to send out an updated map but I should hopefully be able to let you know what Englands winter move is.

England can also retreat their fleet to Ank.  Sorry I didn't have that option before.  The fleet is not shown on the map currently.
