DC447 Winter 1904, Epilogue! - Zoterik   (Mar 07, 2013, 1:54 am)
This time around, all active powers voted in favor of the draw.  This is certainly the shortest game I have ever seen, save the one time I tried to demonstrate it to my family.  It's also the first game I have seen in which the supply center leader was not part of the victorious coalition!  Congratulations to England, Germany, and Italy!

I'd be very interested to see any AARs-I think this game had plenty of room for backstabbing.  I have included the adjustments and final maps.  It's been a pleasure playing with you all, and I hope to meet you again in DC!

DC447 Fall 1904 - Zoterik   (Mar 04, 2013, 2:11 pm)
You guys like giving me an eleventh-hour scare, don't you?  All the
orders came in within eleven hours of the deadline.  There must be a
lot of diplomacy flying about the internet.

We now bid our official farewell to France and Turkey, both of whom
lose their final supply center this turn.  The same EoG proposal has
been made: draw for England, Germany, Italy, survival for Austria,
Russia.  I'll run the vote until the end of Spring 1905.

DC447 Spring 1904 - Zoterik   (Feb 27, 2013, 1:41 am)
The draw vote fails, and the soldiers continue their long marches.  Or at least they would if there weren't quite so many bouncing units which caused a massive trans-continental traffic jam.  Sixteen units failed to accomplish their orders this turn, but no units were dislodged.

Fall 1904 to follow; deadline is 08:00 GMT on 04 March.  Get in your orders soon if you have weekend plans.

DC447 Autumn/Winter 1903 - Zoterik   (Feb 21, 2013, 2:52 am)
At last year's WDC in Chicago, I suffered the same year that France will now endure:  to have one center, but no units to show for it.  It is an unusual situation to say the least.

Fwd: DC447 Fall 1903 Orders - Zoterik   (Feb 18, 2013, 2:21 am)
Two NMRs from collapsing powers lead to an interesting situation.  Turkey officially falls into Civil Disorder, but with one unit remaining we will play on.  France submits no move and the unit is disbanded, but due to English concern over the Atlantic, France survives the year, albeit now with no units in play.

Three units were dislodged, but only one retreat is needed.  As it does not significantly affect the adjustments, we can run Autumn and Winter simultaneously.  Autumn retreat is due 19 February, 08:00 GMT (twenty-four hours).  Winter adjustments are due 21 February, 08:00 GMT.

DC447 Summer 1903 retreat - Zoterik   (Feb 12, 2013, 7:22 am)
A slightly risky Russian retreat leaves Moscow open, but events on the German/Russian front can go any number of ways.

DC447 Spring 1903 Orders - Zoterik   (Feb 11, 2013, 3:51 am)
The Central Powers take a combined four centers from Russia and Turkey this turn, but there is still time for both powers to recover and find a way out of the mess.  Although, it's significantly more likely for Russia than for Turkey, especially if we don't find someone willing to step in the way of a proverbial train.  Meanwhile, France faces the moment of truth:  will the spinning top fall, or will the dream continue?

Three units were dislodged.  As no move was received for Turkey, I'll disband the Serbian army.  I need two retreats from Russia.  Summer deadline is 08:00 GMT, 13 January; I'll adjudicate when I receive the orders-or Bert can simply e-mail the group and I'll follow up with a map later.
