dc163 Fall 1901 Results - davidellsworth   (Mar 17, 2008, 6:35 pm)
It looks like some in this group plan on mixing it up right away!

"Let slip the dogs of war" may have been more appropriate then I had really imagined. Five of the nations take two centers while the other two nations did not get shut out and gained one each. The only hiccup being that one of Russia's newly captured centers was an Austrian home center! Sweden avoids coming under the sway of any major power due to the collision of German and Russian fleets, all other neutrals were picked up.

That leaves us with Austria, Italy, and Turkey each building one. Britain, France, Germany, and Russia each may build two units.

Builds will be due Wednesday 19 MARCH 2008 by 6pm EST. If I get a full set before then I will send out the update sooner.

Here are the retreat results.

Austria:
F Greece - Ionian Sea
A Serbia - Budapest

France:
A Burgundy - Gascony

Since obviously Today would not be good for retreats, lets go for Fall 1905 moves due on Friday 13 May by 8pm EST.

dc163 Spring 1905 Results - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Those dogs of war are howling with delight! Cannons boom and the cries of victory and defeat are heard across the lands.

World Wide Press reports
Austria's forces routed, but look to rally.
England's navies control the oceans and her armies drive into France.
French forces trade lands within Italy, while repositioning at home to repel the invaders.
German citizens quietly watch, and long for the days of peace.
Italian forces reclaim Venice, but lose Naples.
Russian troops provide critical assistance in two separate fronts while following the Italian forces south in yet a third action.
Turkey routs the Austrians!

Ok that was for fun....this is for real.

I need retreat orders for both Austrian units. The army to Budapest or Albania and the Fleet to Albania or the Ionian Sea.
I need retreat orders for the French unit dislodged from Burgandy. It may retreat to Gascony or Marseilles.

Lets get those in ASAP and I will then shoot to have the Fall moves due next Monday. If I don't get the retreats quickly I will adjust the moves due date.

Well folks, the time has come and past......

With appologies, I will proceed as my schedule will not currently allow me to personally send out invitations this week.

France we knew was not going to send moves, but both Russia and Turkey failed to send orders even after the point was stressed.

I checked with Steve and he didn't receive any orders either.

The end result....Turkey has two NMRs, but because one was from a winter cycle I will give him the chance to pick up his forces in the Fall, but a NMR then will put him into CD.

Ok,

Spring move 1908 due date has come and gone, with barely a word from anyone......

Now I see that I have build orders for Russia dated the 18th in my inbox, or in other words before the Winter adjudication. Now I am certain I looked carefully, and I can't explain why I have them now, but since no one except Italy sent orders for the Spring, I will reset the Spring due date with the corrected Russian builds.

I will also add the End Game Proposal offered by Hamish. Please vote yes or no on a DIAS (Draw to Include All Survivors).

dc163 Oops!!! Moves are due Monday 10MAR2008 - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Greetings to all, yet again....

Mike just pointed out to me that I must have had my head on backwards....or something like that!

I made a mistake on the due date for the Spring 1901 moves. I did not intend them to be due in three days! I meant to give you 10 days for this first round.

So the correct and now corrected due date for Spring 1901 moves for dc163 is.....

Monday 10 MARCH 2008 at 6pm EST.

Of course moves will be accepted before that time...lol.

dc163 Spring 1902 Results - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
The Spring of the second year has a few more battles to figure out. And folks it looks like the Germans were duped. Army Munich supports huh? A determined effort by the British and French breach the German boarders. Austria reclaims his home center and takes Bulgaria from the Turks. Turkey forces his way into Rumania, chasing the Russians back to Sevastopol. This along with the Russian defeat in Vienna puts the Russians back on there heels. Can they counter? Meanwhile the Italians quietly venture forth from the "boot".

This Fall is shaping up to be an exciting one! Good Luck to you all!

Fall 1902 moves will be due Wednesday April 2nd by 8pm EST.

For the Spring two Russian retreats were forced but both only have one option for retreat so I made the moves. Ivan if you would like to disband, one or both, instead of retreating just let me know ASAP.
