End Game Reports
Steve Drage - Great game guys. Well done Peter. I know that as the player with the highest number of units it was
un-necessary to call an end and I still think my first choice of joint win or draw was more accurate and that in
the event of this last move eventually I could probably have forced a win for Russia, but he life is to short and
things were rambling on somewhat. That said thanks all for putting up with me and playing the game. Thanks Hugh for
your hard work and tolerating our tantrums etc. I wish you ALL well in future games and life. God Bless you all and
Jim the atheist enjoy the padded cell it may be next to mine!
Robert Skynner - I should NEVER have trusted Peter Williams (Turkey) in this game, he stabbed me (England) and then
later on in a fit of desperation, I offered him an olive leaf later on only to then be stabbed by him a second
time. I'm now running a market stall offering Peter Williams Voodo dolls and doing a roaring trade! However, on a
serious note, well done to Peter for his deserved and impressive victory and thank you to the GM Hugh Polley as
well. I've played a similar but much better game in dip2000.com called the Diplomacy Asia variant. It's a smaller
map with 18 centres to win. Siberia replaces French indo china and the countries are far better balanced. If Peter
or anyone be else can send me all the maps as individual .jpeg then I'd be delighted to make a video out of this
game and then add it to my you tube channel where I already have about 30 diplomacy games. This channel is titled:

Jim Williams - At last. Congratulations to Peter who has played Diplomacy for so long without a victory. I
suppose this one counts as a Lifetime Achievement Award. I remind all players that I came within a whisker of
inadvertently winning when my GEP obtained wide support. A moral victory, I think. Thanks Hugh for your good
tempered and effective running of the game.
Game Master - What a GM lives for a bit of praise, thanks to all for a fun and interesting game. Thanks to your
patients I was able to make some programing bug discoveries. Thanks to this game my adjudicator can handle all the
Colonial Rule variations from date to the coast support rule. Only the Suez rule about occupying Egypt is not
supportable by code. I am looking to fix that but it will require a lot of code to do so.
