PREV  Winter 2002 Adjudication:  NEXT

It is the wishes of the surviving nations that Thailand and Vietnam are victorious, while the rest will tend to their wounds and regroup for the next great fight. The three-way draw failed by one vote, but the two-way draw was unanimous, a clear indicator that the long holiday through August was not something greatly desired, and this result is probably not different from what it might have been had we continued on into the cooler months. So, a great victory for the Thai and Vietnamese players; well done to you both! Such a strong duo deserves its reward, and while the game was well-fought from all sides, it was them who stand atop the podium as this chapter is brought to its close.

I am including the winter adjustments for you, but they are not relevant anymore, merely a passing thought to what was possible. I rather enjoyed this variant; thank you for participating! Couldn't do it without you guys, and I hope you all enjoyed the ride, even if it didn't turn out how you had hoped it might. Two games is a small sample size, but the result is nearly the same as the other incarnation of SE Asia, perhaps meriting some analysis to see if this variant favors this particular pact.
