Thanks for patience while we had the extension. This one continues to be intriguing with all seven players still in it. Not what I expected 1904 to hold for the game.

I will lay good odds that all seven won't make it to Winter 1905...

Surprisingly we have no retreats. Which means we move to Winter 1904. Those adjustments are as follows:

Germany build 1
Turkey build 1

All others get the Winter off.

Deadline for those builds is Sunday the 6th at 8p CT.

Fall 1904
The advance across the Ukraine had been exhausting for the small party of German troops, led by corporal Otto Schmidt. On the way to their current camp they had been attacked by the ragtag remnants of the Russian army, had skirmished with a unit of Austrian cavalry and had been first entertained, and then attacked by the 5th Turkish Bellydancing battalion. With just 22 men left out of his initial party of 300, Schmidt knew that he would have to return to Berlin as a failure.

As this realisation came to the hapless corporal, three of his men dropped to the ground clutching wounds in their necks and with a mighty roar a dozen Cossacks broke their cover in a ruined farmhouse. As his men fell around him Schmidt prepared to meet his maker, victim of the folly of a fat general, with a penchant for unusual cuisine.

â€˜Otto! Otto! Run this way!â€™, boomed a familiar voice. â€˜Run towards the woods!â€™. Confused, Schmidt looked for the source of the voice and was amazed to see a huge black airship sweep overhead, with General Unhold and Monsieur Fromager Puant leaning out of a window.

â€˜Hurry up Otto!â€™, called the general, â€˜I have a plan!â€™.
