SPRING 1617 COMMENTS - mmedeiros   (May 27, 2013, 12:39 pm)
Tuscan army, under the influence of the English and with support of the army in Savoy, overcome the Spanish garrison in Milan. French forces push through into Switzerland with support from the Swabian army.

The Scandinavians make landing in Brandenburg overwhelming the Austrian occupiers! However, they give way to English naval offensive in the North Sea. (So, we thought the Scandinavians would pull out of the war after a tentative letter of resignation from the leaders over political rules of engagement. Was this a diplomatic ploy?)

English and French fleets approach the Iberian peninsula.

Austria continues its expansion to the East.

Failed French offensive against the Spanish Netherlands heightens the tension between the two.

Hi guys,Round 2 with Garry and I seem to bring drama. We have lots of movement and a LOT of SC's change hands even though we don't have a corresponding number of builds for Winter. As a matter of record, we DID have a retreat but it only had one option so I took it (especially since David has a few disbands needed anyway):
German A Hol retreated to Ruh
So with that we will move to Winter where we have the following adjustments:
France build 1Germany remove 2Italy remove 1Turkey build 2
I need those by tomorrow at 9p EST. Sorry for the delay but I have a prior engagement that will delay me a bit with builds. However, if I get it sooner marked as "final" I will go ahead and run the turn.
As another note, we WILL have Spring on Monday in spite of Memorial Day holiday in the US; however we won't do that turn until 9p EST to give everyone a bit longer due to the holiday.

DC455 Aberration - Spring 1904 - Zoterik   (May 25, 2013, 2:28 am)
Generally speaking, the circumstances in which nations find themselves appears to be holding steady; those nations under siege remain so, while those who have the capacity to expand take advantage of their opportunities.  Israel is certainly putting behind him the bad memory of a late start, and the expansion of Poland continues unabated.

Three units were dislodged; two need retreats.  The possibilities are provided below.
Summer 1904 retreats are due 28 May at 08:00 GMT.  Retreats are considered final unless otherwise stated, so I will adjudicate early if possible.

I'll take your 4 votes with the Winter adjudication.  If it happens to pass I'll adjudicate Winter for completeness and then end the game.

Subject: dc442 Haven w07 builds!

Let's see when can we do a next turn.  Do you want it by Thursday?  My weekend starts Friday, then goes thru Monday so if you all want a quick turnaround we can do that (these results had a few extra days anyways)... so dl is Thursday 3pm Central -- tho if I don't have a full set I will not NMR someone for missing a 3-day turn and delay to Tuesday.

Enjoy!

dc458 s01 results! - FuzzyLogic   (May 23, 2013, 7:14 am)
Hi everyone,
First turn results are out!  Seems like a pretty defensive start -- keep people off your border type of thing... There are two bounces, and Russia featured in both of them in Gal and the Black Sea... France gears up for Belgium, the English Channel stays clear, and Italy's set up some options for Tunis.  NEXT:  Fall 01 due Wed 5/29, 3pm Central!
Enjoy,
-mike

Quick reminder - tomorrow is Wednesday!  That means something... something... important... something you should definitely not be forgetting... but alas it slips my mind at the moment.  Hopefully you all remember and your units don't just hold!
