A minor error. Spain's F WCA-GTM should have succeeded - I didn't catch the coast.
So Spain has F GTM(ec) - not WCA.
I'll clean up everything when I get home, but the .DPW file on my site's up-to-date.

dc388 Game Problem - fencertim   (Sep 22, 2011, 6:29 pm)
GM here made a big mistake. When I had to rebuild the .dpy file last turn I left an extra unit on the board. I though i had compared everything closely but when i started to run this turn there was a problem.

The file i used to rebuild from had an Italian unit in Serbia at the time. Getting the units moved to the correct positions i mistakenly left that Italian unit in Serbia giving him an extra unit to for this turn.

Since fall moves have not been revealed I think the best thing to do is send out a new map and .dpy (attached) then have everyone submit new orders if they need to.  So, send me new orders by tomorrow, Friday, September 23rd at 4pm eastern US time OR let me know if the current set is fine.

I am SO sorry. I just knew rebuilding the file was going to cause a problem.

dc389 game end - Draw! England EOG - jerome777   (Sep 22, 2011, 2:48 pm)
Hi all,

First-off, thanks to Mike for GMing the game. I know how busy you are, mate - even on top of having a new baby to deal with you still have loads on your plate at present. I'd also like to echo France's thanks to you all for playing a totally NMR-free game.

As a rookie player I'm still eager to learn how to play this marvellous game of ours, and I'd say that I learned a lot from this game. It was a particular pleasure playing with France both before but also especially after the Russian stab - Brian, you are a fine player and I just wish that I'd not stabbed you at all. This would have given the two of us a chance to at least have found a defendable stalemate line, if not to have done better out of the game. I
hope to come across you in future games, whether as foe, or hopefully as friend, so that I can continue to learn from you.

I'd also like to thank the four of you for voting for the draw, as you promised you would.

Jerome

Just like that, we have a 2-way A-R draw.  5 votes in favor.  Congrats guys!  That was a fantastic bit of teamwork there... EOG statements welcome by all.  Personally I'd have liked to see it play out, and make the two benefactors prove they wouldn't stab the other.  Now we'll never know... But a Win is a Win, and a Survival is a Survival, especially for Italy who hangs on by a dot down to his last turn.

Only one spot left...

Enjoy!  And send in EOG's...
