dc371: Plan for adjudication and beyond - dknemeyer   (Jun 21, 2011, 4:05 pm)
Hi Everyone,
I have orders from everyone except the absent player. If no one objects my plan is to adjudicate as soon as I have his orders. You may change your orders between now and then if you'd like.
Importantly, I will be traveling and/or incredibly busy from now thru next Thursday. Depending on when the final order from this season comes in, that has the potential to impact a total of four adjudications. As always my intent is to get adjudications out the same night they are due but expect in multiple cases that will mean very, very late EST during that time period.
Thanks,

DC 373: Adjudication with Flags - AceRimmer   (Jun 21, 2011, 10:34 am)
It occurs to me that I sent the adjudication without the 'flags': *Cut*, *Fails*, *Dislodged*, etc... If I had remembered to do so, I surely would've commented on the profusion of *Fails* in the Austrian adjudication. Truly, eight units -- six *Fails* and a *Dislodged*. That is a prodigious accomplishment in frustrated ambition. Conversely, England ordered seven units without a hitch.

The deadline is still next Monday.

- Labienus, ???The Civil Wars??? by Julius Caesar

The vote on the French solo is resounding. There will be more blood. And what exquisite blood! So, let???s break this down???

The English and Germans participate in a long chain of orders: Lon-Nth-Nwg-Bar-StP-Lvn-Pru. The net effect is as though to pluck the English army from London and drop it into Prussia.

The French army in Belgium relocates to German-owned Holland.

The Italian fleet in Rome needs a map. (You will find one attached).

Austria seems ready to betray Italy, but it???s hard to convoy to Apulia when there is no fleet with which to convoy. The French pierce into the Ionian Sea.

This leads to the season???s one retreat order:
The Austrian fleet in Ionian Sea can retreat to Adriatic Sea, Albania, Apulia, Eastern Mediterranean, or OTB

This is due tomorrow by 10:00 a.m. CST, Jack.

Fall 1907 will be due next Monday, June 27th.

Lastly, my House Rules explicitly state that I will not publish press submitted to me by players. In the years since I first wrote those Rules, I have changed my mind on this topic. Beginning in the Fall, I will forward press. Please declare whether the press is anonymous or not.

Hey Players,

Happy Father's Day to my fellow dads!  Happy Solstice to all you druids!  And Happy 1913 to any triskaidekaphobes out there!

END-GAME PROPOSALS:

OLD:  The FIT draw was not found FITTING by our panel of experts.  FAIL!

    NEW:  1.  FIT 3-way draw.    2.  EIT 3-way draw.

Happenings (and I use the term loosely):

An English army lands on the continent.  Have we seen this before?  A long time ago, maybe.

An Italian fleet hugs the coast from Gascony to northern Spain.

Do Englishmen prefer blondes?  One English fleet quits the Med, while another makes port in Sweden.

The Tsar can still count on support from his
buddy the Kaiser, but will it be enough next time?

While the Sultan... just... bides... his... time.

RETREATS:  None

NEXT DEADLINE:  Fall 1913 orders and votes are due Thursday, June 23, at 18:00 EDT.

Cheers,
Chris

Orders as resolved.  Report errors quickly, but gently.
