Here are the Winter 2016 results.
It has been a long war. Hard fought by everyone but I think the Italians deserve particular credit for sticking with it. Will this be their final year? Or can they hold on with one unit?
With the holiday weekend let's go for a full week until the next deadline. Let's set orders to be due next Wednesday, June 1st at 4:00 PM US Eastern time.

dc371: Fa07 Results! - dknemeyer (Jun 01, 2011, 12:16 am) |
Gents,
It will remain an open question whether the assaults on fair Carthage would have enjoyed success if Hannibal's military remained coordinated. Regardless, the tactics employed by Egypt and Rome lack for nothing and both of our Mediterranean superpowers will ascend as a consequence.
The only retreat available is Roman A Leptis. It can retreat to Numidia, Phazania or OTB. Given that Numidia is a supply center I have auto-retreated there. Nick, feel free to change that with your Winter orders. Everyone else, you may submit conditional builds and disbands based on a changed retreat. Jim, you may send in two sets of disband orders, based on needing to disband one or two units.
So assuming the Roman retreat to Numidia, we have two Roman builds, one Egyptian build and two Carthaginian disbands. Orders due Thursday at our usual time.
Enjoy!
Dirk

Hi Everyone,
FYI, Jim (Carthage) has not yet gotten orders in. That triggered his once-a-game eight hour grace period. Any other player who still has their grace period remaining - which is all of you - may also change orders but that will expend your grace period in the process.
I will adjudicate promptly as soon as I am able after getting Jim's orders, or will adjudicate at 1 MA EST (local) without them.
If you have any questions, please let me know!

Greetings Gentlemen,
Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day week-end, with the proper balance of saying "Welcome!" to the Summer to come and paying respects to the contributions of those who served in the past.
EOG: The end of game proposal for an 2-way Italian-Turkish draw is voted down.
Movement phase shows continued conflict between our goliaths of the South. Turkey claims another Austrian dot (Vienna) but thanks, in part, to a forgetful Turkish commander, Italy retakes the critical Ionian Sea space.
England is definitely feeling his oats again, coordinating successful attacks on both Holland and the English Channel.
Turkey moves to threaten St. Pete, but that army isn't going anywhere unless its Norwegian support is sapped from
behind.
RETREATS:
Italian F English Channel can retreat to Irish Sea or Picardy or Brest or OTB.
Italian A Holland can retreat to Ruhr or OTB.
Turkish F Ionian Sea can retreat to Eastern Mediterranean or OTB.
NEXT DEADLINE: Please submit retreat orders by 18:00 EDT on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. If they're in early, I'll send out the results early.
Cheers,
Chris
