dc358 fall 1906 results! - coryfucius   (Feb 18, 2011, 9:10 am)
Sorry for the delay, I had to leave work early yesterday and forgot to send out the results before I left.

Germany picks off Liverpool, the last French-controlled center, so we bid farewell to another player.  Germany and Italy fight to a standstill on the Marseilles/Spain front.  Italy pushes Germany out of Tyrolia, and Turkey marches into Ukraine.

Two units are dislodged, one of which has a retreat available:

The German army in Tyrolia may retreat to Bohemia or OTB.

The German army in Ukraine has no valid retreats and is destroyed.

Ray, since there is only one valid retreat, I'll go ahead and order the autumn 1906 retreat to Bohemia.  If for some reason you instead want to retreat OTB, please let me know.

Winter 1906 adjustments are as follows:

  France:  remove 1 / eliminated

  Germany:  build 2

Turkey:  build 1 (banked from 1905)

The winter 1906 deadline is today at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT.  This time, I'll be here to run the turn.  Thanks!

Cory

DC 359 Winter 06 Adjucation - untitled36   (Feb 18, 2011, 8:46 am)
 Hey all,

I received the first end game proposal. An EFT Draw has been proposed. Actually, two seperate players individually proposed this. This would give 12 points to the participants in the draw (plus .1 point per supply center owned) and 4 points for the survivors (plus the .1/sc as well). So by my figuring that would mean:

Turkey: 13.2
France: 12.8
England: 12.7
Italy: 4.4
Germany: 4.2

The vote has to be unanimous (of survivng players), and I will merely say that the draw passes or fails, not by how much or who voted what. Failure to vote counts as a "No" vote. Please submit votes with your Spring moves.

Move-wise, Germany retreats to Prussia and Italy retreats to tyrolia.

Austria: Remove F Adriatic Sea

England: Build A Edinburgh

France: Build A Marseilles

Germany: Remove A Berlin

Russia: Remove A Galicia

Turkey: Build A Ankara, Build A Constantinople, Build F Smyrna

Spring 07 due Monday at 8:00 AM CST (2:00 PM GMT).

John

DC350: 12h for Fall 1904 - Rocketship   (Feb 18, 2011, 2:16 am)
Hi Folks,
Two mistakes on that past adjudication:
First, I had one of France's orders incorrect:
A Bur S F Eng -> Bel
Second, for some reason I overlooked that I was also missing Turkey's orders. Terribly sorry about that; I'm not quite sure what to say. In any event, missing orders are missing orders, so that's still an NMR.
Please accept me apologies for the errors.

DC350: Fall 1904
Sorry for the extra delay, folks. I took the wife out for a date, last night.
Despite the extra-long delay, we're still missing English orders. As this is the second NMR in a row for England, I'm placing the country in civil disorder. I am now seeking a replacement England, however I will not be delaying the next deadline on account of this.
Here is your adjudication:
Austria:
A Budapest Supports A Vienna - Trieste (*Cut*)
A Serbia Supports A Vienna - Trieste (*Disbanded*)
A Tyrolia - Venice
A Vienna - Trieste (*Fails*)
England:
F Denmark, no move received
A Edinburgh, no move received (*Disbanded*)
F Liverpool, no move received (*Disbanded*)
F London, no move received
France:
A Burgundy, no move received
F Clyde - Edinburgh
F English Channel - Belgium
F Irish Sea Supports A Wales - Liverpool
A Wales - Liverpool
A Yorkshire Supports F Clyde - Edinburgh
Germany:
A Holland Supports A Kiel
A Kiel Hold
A Ruhr Supports A Kiel
Italy:
F Aegean Sea - Smyrna (*Fails*)
A Albania - Serbia
F Apulia - Ionian Sea
F Greece Supports A Bulgaria
A Munich Supports F Baltic Sea - Kiel
A Trieste Supports A Rumania - Budapest (*Cut*)
Russia:
F Baltic Sea - Kiel (*Fails*)
A Berlin Supports F Baltic Sea - Kiel
F Black Sea - Rumania (*Fails*)
A Bulgaria Supports A Albania - Serbia
F Norway - North Sea
A Rumania - Budapest (*Fails*)
A Silesia Supports A Munich
Turkey:
F Ankara, no move received
A Constantinople, no move received
F Smyrna, no move received

The only retreats are English, but a country in civil disorder automatically disbands. We therefore skip straight to the adjustments:
France:
Build
Build
Germany:
Remove
Italy:
Build
Russia:
Build
Build

Please get your orders in by Sunday, February 20, 2011, at 05:00GMT. Spring 1905 is due Friday, February 25, 2011, at 05:00GMT.
Cheers,
Matthew

dc366 f06 results! - FuzzyLogic   (Feb 17, 2011, 9:30 pm)
LOTS happens this round, even tho only 3 players submit orders!

Austria and Germany lose their last center and unit, and get eliminated.

Italy hangs on by a thread, despite no orders, thanks to both France and Turkey going for Tunis.  A bullet dodged for sure…

BUILDS due tomorrow, and I’ll make them 9pm Central officially since I have to give 24 hours, but I’ll send out builds sooner during the day whenever I have all 3:

England: Build 2

France: Build 1

Turkey: Build 2

BUILDS to ~me~ again.

Enjoy!

Hello Players,

We have our first elimination.  Germany goes out not with a bang, but a whimper, failing to submit orders for his last season.

Current End-Game Proposal:  The Russian solo proposal has failed.

New Proposal for next Spring:  3-way draw between France, Russia and Turkey

What happened?

Austria finally achieves his life-long goal of occupying Venice, thanks to a helping hand from the Sultan.

Germans are scrambling for French and Russian phrasebooks.  Consider this revenge in advance for 30 years from now.

France, it would appear, has decided that England's usefulness has expired.  Can't quick picture a Froggie in a kilt,
though.

Turkey and Russia swap dots in the Balkans ... Okay,
we're really stretching for news here.  Let's just skip to the aftermath, shall we?

RETREATS:

English F Edinburgh can retreat to Clyde or OTB.
French A Munich can retreat to Burgundy or Tyrolia or OTB.
Italian A Venice can retreat to Tuscany or Piedmont or Apulia or OTB.

ADJUSTMENTS (see below for ownership and SC charts)

England is -1, unless retreat is OTB.
France is +1
Russia is +1
Turkey is +1  ... How very civilized and equitable these three are.

NEXT DEADLINE:

Autumn retreats and Winter orders are due, together, on Friday, February 18, at 18:00 EST.  I expect to be adjudicating close to on time tomorrow, gents.  Some of you have been pushing your luck a little lately with past-the-last-minute revisions.  Just don't start relying on them, okay?

Cheers,
Chris

DC 359 Fall 06 Adjucation - untitled36   (Feb 17, 2011, 8:57 am)
*Austria Eliminated!*
*Russia Eliminated too!*
*And Then There Were Five*

Hey all,

Yes, it's true. We have our first two eliminations this year. Thanks to our Austrian for sticking with it till the end. And remember, there is always Round 2 of the Blitz!

In other news, It looks like the game is developing into an EF vs T with a battered Germany and a mostly intact Italy in between. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out!

I need retreats from Germany (A Lvn can retreat to Pru or OTB) and Italy (A Vie can retreat to Boh, Trl, or OTB). Assuming both units stay on the board, that gives us:
Austria - Disband One (Eliminated)
England - Build One
France - Build One
Germany - Disband One
Italy - Even
Russia - Disband One (Eliminated)
Turkey - Build Three

Retreats and Builds/Disbands Due Tomorrow at 8:00 AM CST (2:00 PM GMT).

John
