DC 345: GM NMR'd - AceRimmer (Jan 21, 2011, 8:09 pm) |
Well, this is embarrassing... I forgot to run the adjudication while at the office today, and now I won't be back at my computer until Monday. Harumph.
But I bet you want retreats, don't you?
Hembria retreats his army to Brest.
Itea retreats his fleet to Norway.
Trigsport retreats his army to Bohemia.
Fall 1907 will be due next Thursday. I will get updated maps out on Monday. Again... my apologies.[Reply] |

dc358 autumn and winter 1902 results! - coryfucius (Jan 21, 2011, 6:08 pm) |
The Tsar submits no orders, so not only does his army retreat OTB, there is no Russian rebuild. He will be entitled to use that build in winter 1903, if he can hang on to his current centers.
Austria raises another army in its capital, while Italy and Turkey both build new fleets.
Spring 1903 orders will be due Monday 1/24 at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT. Prelims are strongly encouraged!

Subject: dc358 fall 1902 results!
Given the pattern, it's no surprise that England NMRs yet again. France takes advantage by convoying to Wales, even as Germany and Italy quickly close in on French home centers. Meanwhile, Turkey sinks the Russian warm-water fleet stuck in port, and Austria marches into Ukraine. But a bounce in Greece may signal a crack in the A/T alliance.
Two units are dislodged, both Russian. However, only one has a chance to survive into next year:
The Russian fleet in Sevastopol has no valid retreats and is destroyed.
The Russian army in Ukraine may retreat to Moscow, Warsaw, or OTB.
Tsar Jack will have a retreat order due for the dislodged army in Ukraine during the Autumn 1902 retreat phase.
Winter 1902 adjustments will be as follows:
Austria: build 1
Italy: build 1
Russia: no change (or build 1 if retreat OTB)
Turkey: build 1
Both the Autumn 1902 retreat and the Winter 1902 adjustments will be due at the same time, tomorrow, Friday 1/21 at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT. You may submit conditional builds that are contingent on the Russian autumn retreat, since that phase precedes winter adjustments. Important reminder: your conditional winter orders cannot be made contingent on someone else's winter orders!

Hi Players,
I really have to give you guys credit. This is one of the wildest openings I've ever seen.
The most important moves of this round are the ones that DIDN'T happen. It seems our Kaiser forgot to set his alarm clock for Thursday, so all the German units stood around and watched as friend and foe, alike, nibbled away at his dots.
The east is fascinating, as well, but don't even ask me to explain what is going on over there. Seems like everybody is fighting everybody, but somebodies are also helping the same people they're fighting?! WB DC366 F02: Retreats Needed Everywhere! - garry.bledsoe (Jan 20, 2011, 8:52 pm) |
We Have Multiple Three Countries Needing a Retreat...A Rarity Indeed
StP Remains Russian In Spite of English and Austrian Interest
Unfortunately That is About All That Russia Keeps - Turkey Stole the Keys to the Kingdom
Italy Claims the Last Neutral
So we move to an interesting Winter turn. We have retreats and adjustments due tomorrow night at 6pm CST. If someone wishes their builds to be conditional on specific retreats they can build their orders as such and I will interpret them. Here is what we need:
French F ENG can retreat to Wales, NTH, Bre or OTB
Austrian A Gal can retreat to Vie or Sil or OTB
Russian F Sev can retreat to BLA or OTB
Austrian F Tri can retreat to ADS or OTB
In addition to that, we have the following adjustments (note some are conditional because retreats can be OTB):
Austria: disband 1 if both units retreat; if 1 unit goes OTB, no disband needed; if 2 units go OTB, 1 build is allowed
England: no change
France: no change
Germany: no change
Italy: build 2
Russia: disband 2 if both units retreat; if 1 unit goes OTB, disband 1; if 2 units go OTB, no change
Turkey: build 2
Wow. That was ridiculous to figure out. Get those orders in. Can't wait to see what this game holds next.

Hi Players,
I really have to give you guys credit.
I'm sure it all makes sense from the inside, but you can just color me befuddled and bemused.
We have a retreat to be submitted by Italy, and
adjustments both plus and minus from everyone else
except Austria and England (who no doubt is dancing about just to have broken even).
Cheers,
Chris
NEXT DEADLINE: Both retreats and adjustments are due tomorrow night, Friday, January 21, at 1800 EST.

dc358 fall 1902 results! - coryfucius (Jan 20, 2011, 6:21 pm) |
