Everyone Reports In
England Already Anticipating An Extra Army? They Order A Non-Existent Army
Russia and France Caught Unawares?
No Bounces in the Usual Places Except Burgundy
All,
We are off. One slight mishap as England orders an A in York to Wales (as opposed to Liverpool). That aside everyone reported in and all is good. Thanks to all for responding to the reminder. You are unlikely to get them in the future.
No retreats needed so we move directly to Fall01. That deadline is Thursday at 6pm CST.

dc358 spring 1901 results! - coryfucius (Jan 10, 2011, 6:26 pm) |
Hello again, everyone, it's time to announce the results of our first movement season. Unfortunately, we have suffered an NMR right out of the gate, as England fails to submit orders. Germany and Russia both appear to benefit, as Germany grabs Holland and Russia moves an army to StP. Other notable moves are Italy's army from Ven-Tus; Austria's army from Vie-Tri; and although this is a common occurrence, the bounce in BLA between Russia and Turkey is the only immediate conflict.
Fall 1901 orders will be due Thursday, January 13 at 3pm Central (US) / 21:00 GMT. Happy stabbing!
Cory
P.S. I had to re-install my adjudication software, so I downloaded the latest version of RealWorld. The map is far more colorful than the one generated by Realpolitik. Please let me know if the image causes you any problems. The game file itself is saved in RP's .dpy format.

DC 345: Fall 1905 - AceRimmer (Jan 10, 2011, 3:53 pm) |
There is only one retreat: the Adarian army in Munich auto-retreats to Ruhr, which is good for the schedule, because it allows us to get Winter 1905 adjudicated before a player vacation from the 12th through the 17th.
Adjustments are needed from Adaria (disband), Itea (build), Trigspor (build), and Zonotrichia (build). They are due tomorrow at the usual 3:00 p.m. CST.
Then, I don???t think we???ll have Spring 1906 until January the 20th.
The undeniably intriguing move of the season has to be the Zonotrichian support of Trispor???s army in Tyrolia to seize Munich, thus dislodging Adaria???s army into Ruhr. In spite of all the center-captures in Vienna, Greece, and Smyrna, I remain uncertain of the relationships among Adaria, Trigspor, and Zonotrichia. I have my suspicions, but they will be validated or disproven by the actions on the board, where all ideas (good and bad) get purified in fire.
There are other moves of interest on the map as well. Itea also is forced to retreat, but as there are no open retreats, his army in Ukraine must disband; Warsaw looks vulnerable. Trigspor performs the uncommon but straightforward convoy of Naples to Tuscany??? really, when???s the last time you saw that? And the ongoing battle for the North Sea stalemates this season; equal supports cancel between North Sea and Belgium.
As we head into 1906, there sure are a lot of units packed in and around Germany (actually, they???re packed all along an arc from Gascony to Kiel to Sevastopol). Something must give!

dc305 revisited! - FuzzyLogic (Jan 10, 2011, 8:40 am) |
Well folks I have not heard from Jenn so I'm just going to call this a 4-way draw. That ok?
Unfortunate that a game had to end this way, particularly for those who are new! That is not the norm. So get in another and it should move along.

Only heard from 3 of the 5! Still have a few days to go to let a week pass, so let's hopefully get word from the other two by next Wed 12/22 at the latest!

Hey folks,
I don't know who out there thinks the Earth is round... but every once in a blue moon, we to have that game that seems to fall off the edge of existence... possibly into another world... maybe it's related to the location of all my left socks, or maybe it's where the tooth fairy sticks all her teeth (what does she do w those anyways?) but nonetheless where once there was a game, sometimes there seems to be none... Well it's time to lift that illusion as we revisit dc305!
This game - once led by the almighty Kyle - who seems to have found a calling in life that takes him far from here... is lost no more. It is time to move forward.
So I present to you now --- wait for it ---
-me-
<applause>
<cheer>
<dancing girls>
No really. I'm what you got. Is it Christmas? No - better. A GM that is here to carry this game to completion. And believe me when I do say that I run a pretty tight ship.
So I offer you now to all step forth! Our 5 players of the 305. Confirm you are in this game!
England - Matthew!
France - Jenn!
Germany - Buck!
Russia - Ponk!
Turkey - Andrew!
With Austria and Italy in Civil Disorder.
What do you all want to do w this game? Some ideas...
1) Play it out
2) Call it and end it a 5-way draw
If you wish to vote for 1 or 2, you must agree to abide by whichever receives majority vote!
If you do not wish to vote for 1 or 2, you can settle for being removed from the game, the vote, etc. Get a CD, and be done w it.
If you don't reply at all, I'll wait up to a week or so and then just remove you.
Hopefully we can get a unanimous, or at least a strong preference, from all 5.
So I present to you a clear option to either play it out or call it honorably! Next step is up to you... Talk it out amongst yourselves and send me your preference, I'll tally them up and get back to you.
Map is attached. Current turn is Fall 03.
Thanks!
-mike
PS - My apologies for not noticing the game was stagnated sooner.

NEXT: Spring 08 due next Monday 1/10, 3pm Central.
With that, we have several things to vote on:
6-way DIAS
3-way CPM
2-way PM
If multiple draws pass, the one with more players takes precedence.
Any single no or abstention would result in a proposal failing.
Enjoy!

Hey all,
First off, thanks for sending in your orders with such punctuality! You guys are a GM's dream come true. I think I had all the orders in by around friday or saturday. That's great! Also, make sure you check the moves. I input the orders in rp as I get them, which normally works fine for me. But this time I noticed one country had old orders still assigned to it after I had got revised orders from that player. I changed it already, but it made me doubt myself. So if your moves aren't right, let me know asap.
With no retreats, we move on to Fall 01 on Thursday, Jan 13th, at 8:00 AM CST (2:00 PM GMT). Builds will follow on Friday.
Thanks all!
