A few notes... Please use the correct names. So far it has been easy enough to figure out what the intentions are, but it would be very helpful to have the orders with the correct names.
England and France bounced again in La Manche, with England and USSR bouncing in Norway, USSR and Germany bouncing in Lithuania, Italy and England bouncing in Tripolitania, and France bouncing with itself in Marseilles. In real news, Balkans was able to take control of Rumania from USSR.
John, there are two options for retreat: you can move to SEV or you can disband here to rebuild in Winter adjustments.
Can you have your retreat orders by 8:30 MDT Tuesday, then we can move to winter adjustments.
Fall retreat is due Tuesday, Sep 16 at 8:30 MDT (17-9-14 02:30)

DC507 - Spring 1870 - Operations (Sep 15, 2014, 8:50 pm) |
And we're off! The game starts with a minor skirmish in the Soviet Union, but other than this incident, peace still reigns. Ok, we're using the Trans-Siberian railroad in our game, but RP doesn't recognize it, so I have to manually fiddle with the map. That being said, the map showing the moves themselves won't always be accurate in those situations, but the resolution maps will show the correct positioning of the
units. Deadline for Fall 1970 is September 21st.

DC508 Map: Armies show up as Planes when on Chain... - hapolley (Sep 14, 2014, 1:12 pm) |
Adjudicator can handle N or F for Fleet/Navy Unit symbol, or you can leave it out with move orders.eg. F nap-ION, N nap-Ion, nap-Ion all work!
For a movement aid, the Armies will show up on the map as planes when on chain Islands as Armies everywhere else. This tells you when the Army unit can hop![Reply] |

I would like to Code my Power Basic Adjudicator into an open source JUST BASIC coded Adjudicator. Anyone who wishes to learn to code in BASIC or knows how to code in Basic is invited to get the FREE BASIC language [JUSTbasic] and join the above YAHOO Group to help me create the program. It would be great if the development of the program made it work as an online Adjudicator compatible with this site.[Reply] |

Oceania Game House Rules and Stuff - hapolley (Sep 09, 2014, 10:21 am) |
Adjudication:
So first deadline is Thursday September 11/ 2014 at 1800.
Players will use Anticipated retreats and builds!
Auto Retreats and Removals will be done using my
adjudicator program.
Deadlines will be every Thursday (spring/summer)
& Sunday (fall/winter) at 1800MT Calgary time.
A Winter deadline may be stretched to Tuesday when
builds/removals are too complicated or a Player does not
send in Winter Orders.
Of note Davao and its borders on the map have been altered
in an effort to prevent Japan from running away with game
again. If you have Japan do not be discouraged it is still
a very strong position.
My adjudicator will output auto retreats, according to an
areas type and value by number of areas adjacent to possible
retreat area. No Move Received will result in a substitute
call, if there is a second NMR then a substitute's orders
will be used, and that player takes over the position.
If no substitute comes forward the units will be in Civil
Disorder, the game will not be put on hold to deal with an NMR.
Other than as mentioned above the standard house rules will
apply unless they conflict with common sense or the game's
rules.
For the first year I will look over moves as they come in
and point out to player moves which will not work do to bad
'hop' or syntax error, after that you are on your own.
My adjudicator does have a spell checker so if I can figure
out what you ordered it will go even if syntax is not
perfect or you have wrong unit type.[Reply] |
DC506 Spring 1939 results with maps - cbconnell (Sep 08, 2014, 10:07 pm) |
Welcome to Blitzkrieg 1939.
Thank you to everyone for getting in orders on time, if not early. Hopefully we won't have 9 days between orders again like we did to start the game.
With 53 supply centers on the board, there are many choices when starting this game. The only real news for this first season is the inevitable bounce between England and France in what is now called "La Manche" (the English Channel). It seems that everyone else is in the mad scramble to find their closest empty supply centers.
PRESS: (The GM does not believe this to be an EOG proposal)
Moscow Official: The Party asks you all to lay down your arms and join the peaceful revolution in the name of all humanity!
Since no retreats are needed, our next moves are Fall 1939. Orders are due in 1 week: Monday, Sep 15, 2014 at 8:30 MST. (03:30 16-9-14 GMT)

Ok, we have our big boy number. We are now officially DC507. Please use this in your subject lines. Anyone who's already sent me orders doesn't
have to resend, you're good. Bryan

Subject: re005 - Colonial - Good to go
Hello
all.. Everyone's confirmed, so we are good to go! I put in for a DC number, and as soon as we get one,
I'll let everyone know. We'll be playing on the Colonial map, using all three optional rules. You can find all the rules for at this link: http://www.dipwiki.com/index.php?title=Colonial Other than that, I'm running the game according to the default House Rules on the DC website.
Deadlines for orders will be 6:00 PM EST on the day of said deadline, which is 2200 GMT. If you know ahead of time of a reason you won't be able to meet a deadline, please let me know and I will work with
you. I may remind players the day before the deadline if I haven't received orders yet, but that's not definite, and the lack of a reminder will NOT absolve you of the deadline if it's missed.
I am also a stickler for correct orders, so please be careful of
specifying coasts, convoys, etc. Any invalid or unclear orders will count as a hold for the unit or units in question.
When sending me orders, in the subject lines of your orders, please include the game number, powers, and season, i.e. DC501 - Austria - Spring 1903. Please put this in the subject of a new email - don't just reply to another email of mine, or the orders may be missed. That part is VERY important. I will always acknowledge orders when I receive them, so if you don't get an acknowledgement within a day, give me a shout. So, with all that, let's jump right into it! The deadline for Spring 1901 will
be September 15th. We should have a DC number by then, but if for some reason we don't, just use the re005 in the subject line.
Here are the players and powers for our game. Powers were assigned using an online random number generator.
