Given that there's only one retreat for the German army, to Sweden, then I'll assume that's the order at 8pm BST tonight. Germany, if you want to disband, or you want a full 24-hours to consider your order then just say.

DC501 - The Freelancer Fall 1901 - Operations   (Jun 21, 2014, 7:15 pm)
Fall of 1901 closes out a peaceful year in Europe. After a spring of internal political maneuvering in Germany, a new Kaiser takes the reins and stakes his own claim in the frozen North, joining England and Russia. In the Balkans, however, things are anything but peaceful. There continues to be squabbling in the border regions of Galicia and Rumania, while Turkey wins out in the Black Sea.  The big story in the region is the bold move undertaken by the
Italians, sweeping out of their territory to gut Austria, left unaccountably vacant by the Austrian military.  There are no retreats this turn. Builds and disbands for the Winter are as follows:  Austria: Disbands 1England: Builds 1France: Builds 2Germany: Builds 1Italy: Builds 3Russia: Builds 1Turkey: Builds 1  Deadline for receiving of adjustments is June 23rd, 6:00 EST   Austria A Albania-Greece- bounced with Bulgaria (one against one)A Vienna-Galicia- bounced with Warsaw (one against one, support cut)A Rumania supports Vienna-Galicia (cut by Ukraine)  England F English Channel

I'm inclined to stick with the normal deadline and keep the flexibility if needed.  Honestly I think throughout the game we have probably been too flexible given it is a tournament, but that is the standard we've set and suddenly changing it doesn't make sense.  I'm sure it has prevented a lot of NMRs, so that is good.

Don't often see an interesting and intelligent article about Diplomacy in a mainstream (relatively) media outlet. Check this out!

Yes, this is an excellent read. Nice to get a perspective from outside the hobby.

DC488 S07 C & P HAVE ORDER CONFUSION BUT NO HARM - vegas_iwish   (Jun 17, 2014, 6:25 pm)
Mem got 2 orders. I always use the last 1. No idea what P had Sin & Jer doing but no gain to be made anyway. Thanks for playing Ojax/Steve. Almost made it to end. As next turn is last turn there appears to be no reason to vote on some proposals I have rcvd. Top sc player gets draw with others on board survivors just like 1st round. R can change ret if wants. 6/24 final turn. E needs an sc to be a survivor Wink http://www.diplomaticcorp.com/game_page.php?game_id=dc488 Rome:
