New GMs - Operations (May 30, 2014, 9:41 pm)

Hi all.. Running my first game here, and was wondering if there was maybe a sort of "checklist" of the steps needed to start a game, i.e, assign countries, then enter SCs for 1900 (I'm assuming?), etc.. Also a step-by step on updating and recording the adjudications on the site?

I've asked for these things from the Mods, but am getting no replies. I'm sure they're just busy, but I really would like this info, rather than experimenting on the fly and possibly messing things up irreparably.

Hey all,

In light of Germany's impending victory, the rest of the board scrambled for the .1 points/sc to help give them a slightly higher ranking. Only Turkey has any success, taking Serbia from Austria at the final moment.

Congrats to Germany for winning the game! End of Game statements are strongly encouraged. Thanks for sticking with it. Sorry for the couple of times I dropped the ball of timely adjudications, but overall I think we kept the game moving fairly well. Benjy is currently at the top of the statistics, though several games are still unfinished. But at least the survivors can console themselves with being defeated by the (currently) reigning player. Smile

Hey all,

France apparently failed to send orders. With that failure, the only hope of the Allied Powers is dashed. German tanks roll into Spain, giving him the 18th center, if he can hold it. The allied forces do beat Germany back in Ukraine, but I doubt that will be enough to stop the evil overlord. I auto retreated Ukr-Warsaw.
