To my mind:

Win = good result
Draw = okay result
Survival while other people draw = Survival while someone else wins = elimination = bad result

Can we impose a stricter rule about this?  Granted NMRs are a pain, I feel after ample warning (say, the e-mail sent out on Monday) and a 24 hour grace period, waiting penalizes the other players.
