Kaiser,
We salute your valiant efforts in disposing of the remnants of the French Empire.
Perhaps now it is time for you to look East and consider future alliances.
We are the POWER in the EAST.
Together we have 10 armies and four fleets, together we can sweep away Austria and you can shake off the shackles of your Imperial Uncle.
Austria is overstretched in Italy, and England caught up in the frozen wastes of the North..
SIL to be DMZ, then BOH for you, GAL for me.
When ready to strike we can discuss the spoils.
Sultan.
-----------------------------------------
Austria ----- Germany
No need to fall out and tie up unnecessary armies while you take out Iberia and I attend to Italy. Can you agree TYL and BOH as DMZ's while we both sort out our agendas?

DC 220 Return of your GM and Winter 1906 Deadline - Verticallychallangedcutie (Apr 08, 2009, 10:32 am) |
Folks,
Thanks for sticking with this game while I seemed to have disappeared into thin air. What started out as a plan to only be gone for a week while we moved turned into almost 2 months of me being gone. A long list of bad events between Feb 10th and now have kept me from the game. For those of you, who wish to hear the tale please feel free to contact me via private email and I will shoot it along. Thank you to Stephen for running my games for me. It helped out immensely and it was much appreciated.
I suppose you all would be wanting a deadline for your Winter moves huh? Sorry it took so long to get out.. Moving this weekend, and the kids kept me busy but things should calm down now.
Deadline:
Winter 1906 is set for Mon April 13th at 7pm EST. ( 11:59pm GMT ).

Hey Everyone,
It seems as though 3 or 4 of our players are all going on vacation around Easter, and where as Santiago is one of them I am going to reset the Autumn retreat to Next Monday April 13th at Midnight GMT (7:00PM) EST. After Santiago gets his retreat in we'll move right into a quick Winter phase and get the next spring off the following week. This will give our new player a week and a half to get accustomed to the game and should give everyone pleanty of time to deal with their Easter holiday.
Thanks guys,

Disaster!
The Stone of Tear has Fallen! Weep for the Future! The Dragon is loose on the World again!
Our noble Southlands can retreat into the fastness of Haddon Mirk or the Plains or Maredo, but with the loss of their last SC, it matters not.
Meanwhile, the Whitecloaks last attempt to stay alive fails as the Westlands and Midlands take the Children's last two SCs.
Thank you to both Alan and Eric, for a great Game!
Meanwhile, the Borderlands continue to edge south, but foolishly pause in Tarwin's Gap, and find the Blight has swallowed their northern army.
The prophacy seems to have been broken, as not the North is joined to the West, and the East to the South.
It appears the stage may now be set for Tarmon Gai'don!
In other news, the DAIS was voted down, and I will be out of the country for the next week.

DC223 - Fall 1908 adjudication - bielf11 (Apr 07, 2009, 11:30 am) |
Fall 1908: full-scale attack on German positions by Russian and French troops. The German army in Burgundy is disbanded but Germany manages to dislodge the French fleet in Holland.
Russia also makes an attempt at Venice but could have known that French/Italian troops again would cooperate to resist.
Italy finds it bounces in Naples with the Turkish troops. The Pasha meanwhile solidifies its position in the Mediterranean.
England is again ignored by the other Powers.

DC 211: Fiasco in Italy - AceRimmer (Apr 07, 2009, 11:01 am) |
It's Spring 1910, and while the north remains locked, French units swarm to their chosen destinations in the south. The Tuscan Division of the Austrian army is crushed liked a sack of tomatoes, and Rome falls while the departing Austrian army slips into the highlands of Naples. Still, the region remains packed with doughty (or is that doughy?) Austrian soldiers, ready to carry on the resistance.
There is only one dislodged unit. Army Tuscany with no available retreats is atomized. So, S1910 Seismics will be due on Thursday.

Okay
I have received NO preliminary moves from either John or Alf. I'm not happy.
Alf - you only just caught the first deadline, and missed the second one. Now I dont have preliminary moves from you.
John - I double checked that you wanted to be in this game, and I turned away another potential reliable player because you were the first player to express interest. Yet no prelims from you either.
Now I am going to assume that the fact my deadlines are in Australian EST may have confused you. So I shall make it clear.
If I dont get sent preliminary moves for Spring 1903 by Wednesday 8th April, at 7pm Australian EST you will be replaced.
That deadline is Wednesday 8th April at 7pm Australian EST (which is 9am GMT).
Steve
PS
Thanks Michael for submitting prelims by the deadline imposed.
