Dc220 Spring 1906 - deathblade_penguin   (Mar 27, 2009, 10:23 pm)
Dc220 Spring 1906

Interesting developments in the Dc220 game.

1) Another NMR from France. If i dont get moves from France by the next deadline, that will be Benjy's second NMR in a row and I will have to seek a replacement France.

2) Germany. Due to cirumstances beyond his control, Josh/Germany is going to be MIA/internet free for the near future. Rather than CD Josh at this point, I have already received a series of standing and conditional moves for germany PLUS votes on any end game proposals. However - Josh will not be contactable in this game (yes I know it is strange)

3) There is a proposal for a France - England draw. Please vote with your Fall 1906 moves (this is where it gets odd)... If France does not submit moves for the next deadline, he will be deemed to vote YES for the EGP.

DC235 Dirkfell Winter 1911 Adjudication - former.trout   (Mar 27, 2009, 9:58 pm)
Heya there Dashers, Donners and Blitzens

Exciting Winter turn this time round.  The Village People will be happy - we have two new navies on the board:  one in Constantinople, the other in Naples.  There's also an army in Kiel thats rumoured to be starting up a YMCA..  Meanwhile, the show is cancelled in Albania as ticket sales slump.

Garry should be back on Monday, so you won't be stuck with any more of my rambling...  Deadline for Spring 1912 will be set for Monday, March 30th (11:59 PM GMT).

Poor show! That's just gross...

You guys care so little about this game that you're just throwing it to England? Just letting him walk into your open centers in the rear? Good grief. At least make him earn it...

Boo!

Mikael, I propose an English solo. If Sam and Chris are going to just drop their pants like that, then lets get it over with now and spare us all the time and embarrasment.

No way! I totally don't see it. Unless Russia agrees to it. Russia's going to take Munich this turn, nothing E or G can do about it and England will never get into the Ionian unless Austria / Russia breakup, which does not seem likely.

What 18 do you think you can take Tim? E, F, G, Scan, StP, Hol, Bel, Port, Sp, Tun is 18, but I can't see you getting to Munich first. So if its not Munich, you think you can grab Naples?

My fault, gang. Many apologies from England (and Granite Bay, for that matter).

I'm at the tail end of my third 16 hour day in a row (my project went to hell Tuesday). The crisis is now averted (one would think it tough to get into a crisis on a 16 mo bridge construction project, but you haven't met my contractor or my client), and I'm going to bed.

I will get in my orders tomorrow, and tomorrow night, I look forward to asking most of you what game you're watching when the guy so beautifully (truly) telling you all that he's not the problem grows two and the guy he's pointing to as the big threat loses one. Almost makes me wonder if Wayne Bailey is playing under an alias.

Sleep well (though you should all be sleeping well right now).

Heya gang,

Our Kaiser is a no-show for the retreats phase, disbanding the Kiel unit and leaving the entire Western Europe unoccupied.  Meanwhile, Italy sends their Marseilles troops packing to Piedmont.

We do have a bunch of adjustments to resolve - deadline for Winter 06 will be set for Saturday, March 28th (11:59 PM GMT).

Cheers!

A&E 090205 / DC240: Unfortunately there is no adjudication, as I never received orders from one player.

The new deadline is Fri Mar 27th at 10 pm USA Eastern time. You are free to continue diplomatic contacts until that deadline and send in new orders.

DC230 Winter 02 - Snowy Boots - former.trout   (Mar 26, 2009, 9:31 pm)
Heya guys,

The Winter turn is plain and easy - a single army in Berlin is the total story.  =)

The scheduling for the Spring of 03 is a little more hairy, however.  Due to a player trip, it will be a slightly longer deadline than usual.  Spring 03 orders will be set due for Tuesday, April 7th (11:59 PM GMT).

Please make sure orders are copied to both myself and to Babak.  My hope is that this longer deadline will give your intrepid GM time to get set once again and resume control of the game.  (That way, he saves all you players from any further Troutish shenanigans.)  =P

Let me know if you spot a mistake, although I'll really cry if I made one this turn.  Cheers folks!

DC235 Dirkfell Fall 1911 Adjudication - former.trout   (Mar 26, 2009, 9:14 pm)
Heya Blitzers,

Its just your friendly neighbourhood Trout here, filling in for your intrepid GM.  Thanks to everyone for CCing the orders inbox - makes my job easy.  =)

Ammunition makers around the world rejoice, as both end-game proposals are voted down.  The bloodshed continues, as does the ammo expenditure.  On the board, most moves are foreseen and countered - the exceptions being the fleet maneuvers of England and the recapture of Vienna by Germany.

No retreats are required, but we do have a quartet of Winter adjustments.  Deadline for Winter 1911 orders will be set for Friday, March 27th (11:59 PM GMT).  Please ensure that the orders inbox is CC'd, as I think Garry will be out of contact again tomorrow evening.

Please let me know if you spot any errors.  Cheers!

I JUST returned from vacation and will get back to you all as soon as I get unburied....an "unquick" response is NOT a statement of my interest in your propositions!

Let's get ready to blitzkreig our way into Rd 2. Below is our lineup for this game. Feel free to start your diplomacy. I think this will be an interesting one since I have had the pleasure, nay the honor, of playing with more of you than not. Now I just get to sit back and watch.

I am Garry, your often less than noble GM for this one. I may also refer to this game as Torjik. I find it easier to keep track of that way. I will give more on the name at a later time.

As you may note, I am still running a game from Rd 1 and playing in Rd 2 myself. I only mention it so you realize that I am balancing a few things but will do my best to be punctual.

Our deadlines will be at 6pm CST [12am GMT I think?]. Our first deadline is next Monday [the 30th]. Please use this email address for orders and DON'T FORGET TO COPY orders(at)diplomaticcorp.com (orders(at)diplomaticcorp.com). In the event I am out of town, Trout or Mike will fill in for me and retrieve orders from there. I typically try to remind you but you should do it anyway.

That should get us rolling. Best of luck [just not enough to beat me in the standings!].

garry
