DC 211: S1909 Seismics - AceRimmer (Mar 26, 2009, 11:35 am) |
Some serious moving and shaking going on in the south. Especially that French order caused a lot of redrawing the map. I *think* I've got it right, but you may want to double-check just to be sure. But after all the dust settles, Rome can be taken, if that be the French plan. But all things are fleeting, and the question will be: can it be held?
And let's not forget that English fleets now border Moscow in the north.
There will be a Fall 1909. It will happen on Tuesday, March 31.

The online adjudication has already been updated. Please accept my

Folks,
As some of you know things have been pretty hectic in my house lately. The kids and I came down with a horrible stomach virus that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. The kids and I are finally better but we just received word that my husband is being sent back to his home base a few days earlier. That leaves me little less then a week to get packed, find us a truck and an apartment in San Antonio. During this time Stephen Lytton will be taking over GMing for you go so all orders from now on are to be sent to stevelytton(at)hotmail.com.
As soon as we get into San Antonio and we get settled I will take back over. Stephen will be setting a new deadline I believe. Have fun guys and take care. I'll be back in about 2 -3 weeks.. ( hopefully 2! )

DC230 Fall 02 - Slight German Correction - former.trout (Mar 25, 2009, 9:28 pm) |
Heya guys,
My bad... Once again, you just can't get good help these days - your humble substitute GM screwed up one of the German orders. Germany actually ordered the Baltic Sea -> Denmark. Not sure what I was smoking last night, but it must have been pretty good. =)
The corrected map is attached. I do already have Germany's winter adjustment, but I like to give the full time for the deadline usually so I won't adjudicate until tomorrow night.
Cheers all!

Hey there folks,
Lots of noise and confusion in the south as everyone seems to buy a ticket for Bulgarian station. Meanwhile, the French spend an autumn vacation in the Welsh countryside.
No retreats are needed, and only a single Winter 02 adjustment. Germany gains a build, which is the sum total of what is needed for Winter. Deadline for Winter 02 will be set for Thursday, March 26th (11:59 PM GMT).

DC250 - My Army Is Bigger Than Your Army - Game-La... - former.trout (Mar 25, 2009, 8:51 pm) |
Heya folks,
I'm very happy to announce the game-launch of DC-250, which I've tongue-in-cheek named "My Army Is Bigger Than Your Army!" The player roster and country assignments are below. Due to almost all of you guys virtually having the same sets of preferences, not everyone landed the country in the top range of their choices. Hopefully everyone will make the best of the position that they landed. =)
I've attached a copy of my house rules, with which I'll be governing any grey areas that might crop up during game-play. Please do look them over - I know that they're somewhat extensive but it is all good info for you folks to know. In addition, I've included a copy of the standard game-start map.
Our game forum is dc250(at)diplomaticcorp.com (dc250(at)diplomaticcorp.com) It is of great benefit if you go to the message board and subscribe to that forum. That way, if email quirks and you miss an email from me, you should still receive it by way of the message board.
And that about covers it. I'm thrilled to have you all in the game! Happy stabbing! The deadline for Spring 1901 orders will be set due for Thursday, April 2nd (11:59 PM GMT). Prelims are both welcome and highly encouraged. =)
Game on!

Hello all,
This is Josh, the Turkish ruler. Regarding the next season, I will submit my orders for the 30th on time, but the week of the 29th-4th I will be in New Orleans and probably have little or no access to the internet, and thus my email. For the GM, I request an extension on the season following Spring 1908.
Thanks,
Josh

Propose it, but I'll vote against it for the foreseeable future. I don't bail out of a game the first time I hit a wall. In fact, I can't wait to see what happens now that you have to face the Americans. Given how you fared against little old Turkey, my money is on the red, white and blue!

Which Americans? The one against a wall in the east and south, the one against a wall in the west and south, or the one who is veeeeerrrrry big but can't solo on North America alone and is thus also against a bloody wall?

actually there are FIVE living "American" players left in the game.
California, Midwest, New England, Argentina, and Brazil. Three from North
America and two from South America.
But of course, the Turkish player is a totally culturally illiterate pompous
ass, probably a "North American", from the United States that thinks waving
a red, white and blue flag somehow makes one better, smarter or stronger
than some one from another country. Of course is DOES make one more
arrogant, certainly.
It's the Chinese that will inherit the earth. We have culture and patience.
Our society was here thousands of years before you and will dominate you for

I'm talking about the two Americans just off your eastern shores, whiz kid. That you couldn't figure that out doesn't say much for your prospects against them. As it happens, I'm not a 'North American from the United States.' Learn how to differentiate between the game and RL.
