DC 211: F1903 Adjudication - AceRimmer   (Nov 23, 2008, 3:27 pm)
After some technical difficulties, all orders have been received. There is only one dislodgement, and it has no valid retreat, so we are in line for a Seismic order Tuesday at 1000 CST. I will update the map tomorrow morning (Monday)... so don't remind me that I haven't attached the map!

For those looking ahead to the W1903 adjustments phase, I believe:
Austria gets 1 build
England gets 1 build
Germany has 1 disband

The new 1903 SC count will be:
Austria 6
England 6
France 7
Germany 1
Italy 4
Russia 7
Turkey 3

I would like to process the W1903 adjustments Wednesday at 0800 CST. Please note the early deadline (by two hours). If I do not have orders on time, the W1903 Seismic will have to wait all the way until next Tuesday (it’s all about access to the mapping software I use). As noted, I will be at Yankee Thanksgiving from mid-Wednesday through next Monday. [Note: 'Yankee' as in 'American', not 'Yankee' as in '<expletive> <expletive> <expletive-laden rant> New York Yankees'].

Austria:

England:
F North Atlantic Support Norway
F Norway Support St Petes -> Smyrna (*Move Not Ordered*)
A Denmark -> Kiel (*Fails 1:2 to F Kie*)

France:

DC205 - Packratini Seizes Power - packrat   (Nov 23, 2008, 10:16 am)
Greetings all!

The Italian embassy is once again open for diplomatic negotiations
and various other endeavors. Given the current situation the first
order of business would be to accept anyone's petition to surrender,
otahes of fealty, ceding of centers and the like. The glorious Italian
government would also like to remind the world leaders that being
governed by Italy is like no other experience on earth. You would
be well advised to avail yourself of that opportunity voluntarily since
having it done through conquest just makes a mess of everything.

For this reason, I'd also ask that we don't have such a short deadline.

than GM, maybe next game.

How this variant unfolds is always an interesting thing to

You should quit the game in protest.
Not that anyone besides Germany and France knows you're
there. You might've
not been gone at all if you'd actually diplomed with
the rest of the board.

DC205 - Spring 1905 - Italian Resignation - former.trout   (Nov 22, 2008, 6:06 pm)
Hi guys,

Well - unfortunately - I requested clarification of orders and instead received a resignation from our good Italian dictator. Nath, I do hope you'll reconsider but will put the game open to recruiting. If you change your mind then please just let me know.

Meanwhile, to keep the game moving I've run the turn with the orders in hand. The English expeditionary force in Belgium finds no Dunkirk and meets a grisly end. Turkey fends of the larger part of the southern Russian offensive but receives no quarter in Bulgaria. And the wires cross for the forces in green resulting in two Italian units standing and waiting for orders.

No retreats are required after the Spring 05 moves. I'll immediately seek out a replacement Mussolini and will announce the Fall 05 deadline once we have found our stand-in.

Cheers everyone. Please let me know if you spot any errors.
