Hi folks,

There remains no word from Russia and I'm worried that this may be a weekend access issue. However, we'll embark on the official Russian grace period and give Dave until Sunday Feb 17th (11:59 PM GMT) to submit orders. All other players orders are locked in place.

Thanks for the patience everyone. Cheers!

Dc132 - Change of Deadline - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
You know that stage when you've had a lot to drunk, chatted up a nice young girl and then forgotten to run a diplomacy game when you get home, so you run the game and then send out the wrong deadline.. I do. So i did not mean to give you 2 weeks for the next deadline...

so...

Dc132 Spring 1906 is due Thursday 21st at 9pm, Australian EST.

YES your Dc132 dealdine is this Thursday at 9pm.

If that it too early, let me know.. but i think it should be okay.

Dc159: Change of Deadline - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Apparently when you are in Ice Station Zero, you lose all track of what day it is, how many days in a week etc... It's either that or the hideous amount i had to drink and the young girl who i assume was so impressed by my witty banter.. but i digress,,

I meant to give you one week for establishing initial builds, not 2 weeks.

Therefore you actual deadline for Winter 1900 Builds is :-

Dc159 Winter 1900 is due Thursday 21st at 9pm, Australian EST.

If this is too soon for anyone please let me know.

Um-hm-hm... aah ah ah...
Don't leave me this way
I can't survive, can't stay alive
Without your love, oh baby

--------------------------------

Of course, nobody is packing their things as a result of the Spring 1906 moves... Little movement on the board, but a whole lot of jockeying for position. England guesses correctly in the British Isles, Russia annexes Bohemia and the French and Turkish navies silently watch each other from their respective perches in the Med.

No retreats are required which means that we move onto the Fall of 1906. Please have orders in to me by Thursday, February 21st (11:59 PM GMT).

Please just let me know if you spot any errors. Feel the funk!

Our Comrade, Felix - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
I've recieved a message from Felix. As most of you would know, he had to withdraw from Diplomacy due to personal reasons.

With this message, he asked me to just let you all know he's doing okay and that he is taking a break from both diplomacy, but he did not specify for how long. I suspect, given his love of the game, that he will return someday.

Thanks for taking your time reading this.

Dc142 Autumn 1903

Germany retreats Army Burgundy to Paris.

Also a clarification from Fall. I failed to enter Germany's order for gascony. The order was

Army Gascony supports Italian Army Piedmont - Marseilles

This does not affect the adjudication as Italy was successful in his move to Mars.

Winter 1903 is due in approx 27 hours.

I am only waiting for Italy's Build and Turkey's Disband.

Ok, Austria has 5 centers and 4 units - BUT, all of it's home centers
are occupied, so he is unable to build this winter.

Got me all riled up thinking the software was fubar - sheesh!

Stephen,

I echo Keller and Marc's comments. It was a pleasure having you in
charge. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently.

Stephen,

Thanks for managing the game. It was a great time and hopefully we'll
start up another game in a few months.

Autumn 1908
I have taken the liberty of retreating the Turkish army to
Constantinopole (it's own retreat).

Now due to either very careful planning or Keller throwing a 'spanner'
in the best laid alliance at the end of the game, but Germany has
acquired his 18 SC and won this game.

Congratulations to Kevin.

Final Positions.
1st and SOLOing with German - Kevin Douglass on 18 SC.
2nd and Surviving with England - Jeff Shannon on 12 SC
3rd and Surviving with Turkey - Keller Hoak on 4 SC
4th and Just Eliminated this Winter - Shawn Douglass
5th Bill Barrett as Austria and Marc Gidwani as France eliminated in
1905.
7th Frank Gidwani as Russia eliminated in 1903.

I hope you enjoyed the game and may considering playing another with us.
Feel free to share your End of Game statements and comments with me.
