Dc115 Spring 1907. - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Dear Double Dippers.

I incorrectly entered an Italian order. The correct order was

EAS supports Bulgaria to Smyrna.

The result is that that Italian armies make it into Smyrna (and Bulgaria respectively) and the Turkish fleet remains in Constaniople.

Correct Map attached.

Your sincerity is my concern - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
London,December,2007

Dear friend,

I presumed that all is well with you and your family. Please let this do not be a surprise proposal to you because i got your contact information from the international directory in few weeks ago before i decided to contact you on this profitable business opportunity. Moreover, i have laid all the solemn trust in you before i decided to disclose this transaction in details to you, hoping that you will give me your desired co-operation to untilise this God-sent opportunity.

I am Mr. Christopher Toby,an accountant working with hsbc bank and i have had the intent to contact you over this financial transaction worth the sum of TWENTY FIVE MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($25 000,000.00 ) for our success. This is an abandoned sum that belongs to one of our bank foreign customers,Late Rudi Fassancht,a bundesliga football trainer who died in an ill-fated air flight in 2000.

Meanwhile i was very fortunate to came across the deceased file when i was arranging the old and abandoned customers files in other to sign and submit to the entire bank management for an official re-documentation and audit of the year against 2007.

Be informed clearly that it was stated in our banking rules and regulations which was signed lawfully that if such fund remains unclaimed till the period of 8 years started from the date when the beneficiary died, the money will be transferred into the HM Treasury as an unclaimed fund.

As an honour and advantage bestowed to our foreign customers base on the rules guideing hsbc bank, it was stated obviously that if you are not a British citizen, you have the absolute authority to claim the fund hence you are a foreigner despite your differences from the country of origin of the deceased. So the request of you as a foreigner is necessary to apply for the claim and transfer of the fund smoothly into your reliable bank account as the NEXT OF KIN OR EXTENDED RELATIVE to Late Rudi Fassancht.

On the transfer of this fund into your account, { 39% } will be your share in respect of the account provision and your assistance rendered during the transfer of the fund into your bank account,{ 52% }will be my share being the co-odinator of the transaction while the rest { 9% } will be shared to the respectable Organisations Centers such as Charity Organisation, Motherless Babies homes, and helpless disabled people in the World a mark of God's gratitude for this blessing.
This kind of opportunity is not what comes two times in someone’s life so I want to take advantage of it to the best of my ability. I regret to tell you that all my years of service, working with hsbc London as accountant,i have nothoing to show for it,no savings, nothing. Added to this,is that i have a 12 yrs old daughter suffering from severe Luekemia ill-health which has defiled orthodox medical treatment, but i had received advise to take her for alternative medical treatment;the problem is that i don't have the money,so i really need this fund.

Please, contact me and promise you will not change your mind to cheat or disappoint me when the fund have been comfirmed into your account. Besides you should not entertain any fear because i am sure of the success as an insider in the bank ok.This transaction is 100% risk-free.

Please reply with the assurance, include your private telephone and fax numbers for easy communication.
Anticipating your swift response.

DC139 - Live In Rapid City - Spring 07 - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Bounces at opposite corners of the map in Spring 07, as Carthage tells the Egyptian navy to go back to building pyramids... Oh yeah, and remember the 300 Spartans!

Three retreats required - two Egyptian and one Carthaginian. All three only have one place to go, but what makes it interesting is that for the two Egyptian fleets that one place is the same... Deadline for Summer 07 retreats will be set for Tuesday, 12 AM MST.

Cheers all!

Countries disappearing fast...we lose another!
This has to be some sort of Anarchy record.
Turkey and Germany taking FULL advantage of those MIA - both on 11 centres now.

One retreat pending - ENGLISH F Hol. You can retreat it or disband it; if you choose to retreat it you will still need to disband one unit. If you disband it your units are good [no removes or builds needed from England.

Need build orders for:
Turkey - three builds possible
Germany - three builds possible

Note to Nick: F in StP is in the North Coast and cannot move to Lvn [only can be done from the South Coast].

For our next turn - let's do builds/retreat/disbands by tomorrow at 8pm CST [December 18th]. From there, let's make our Spring 1906 deadline Thursday December 27th at 5pm CST. This should ensure that everyone has plenty of time to talk and get moves in given when the holidays fall. If any of you three have an issue with this please let me know. Thanks.

DC 134 New Player - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
The concensus was to let the new player in.
Julien will take up the mantle of the Midlands.
The full disclosure is that he knows both Seanh and Stephen in RL.
To give time, our next orders will be due Monday December 24 (at) 9pm Easter US Time.

We will then likely have a 1 week holiday break and resume after newyears.
If ANYONE has Holiday timing issues let me know and we will extend the deadlines.

Thanks Steve,
Hey Guys – It may be that Steve Sean and I know each other – However it also means that I know how much I can trust them.
Sean and I frequently align ok, however recent game play has involved a fair be of conflict (put nicely).
Steve and I could be like any other players – Steve is good at ‘negotiating’ peace, even though you know he’s the enemy.
He tends to win games more often than others, but I’d like to think I’m on his case.

Let me know if you’d like me to play.

This week I’m on GMT+7 (HongKong) and at a PC during working hours.

Jules.

I have mentioned your interest in the Wheel of Time diplomacy game to the GM - Jason K.

I beleive he is 'surveying' the players about having 3 people who know each other in real life in game.

His email address is CC'd. I've also CC'd Mike Sims who will walk you through how to join the game through the club, if Jason needs you to play.

You may want to use your gmail address for game correspondance if and when you join.
