Dc 277: Modern GM Decision - AlanRFarrington   (Nov 16, 2009, 7:37 pm)
Hey guys,

I'm going to instate a new philosophy I've seen done before. Everybody gets 1 free pass. A 24 hour grace period where I'll wait for you to get late orders in. Once you've used it up--tough luck you're getting an NMR.

Let me know what you guys think of this policy.

I would have thought that the fact that you send an email reminder to us all, pointing out that we have 24 hours to get our orders in would have been sufficient: but I'm quite happy to go along with it.
You're the GM & I'm just the little Fez wearer in the bottom right corner.
Regards to all, Mick

Yep, fine by me as well.  Your reminders come regularly and those who need extensions ask for them.  If someone doesn't respond...well, maybe thats strategy of some insane variety.

Woah! Lots of confusing stuff going on this turn. My computer has been dead for the last 4 days, but today when I came back from class it was magically working again so I took the time to Adjudicate. I'll most likely be getting a new computer towards the end of the week when Windows 7 comes out (Did Bill Gates plan this?). Bare with me, Send your orders to me, and if I need Andy (AKA The White Wolf) I'll send him your orders and let him adjudicate it seperately.
Any Questions?

Dc 277: GM announcement - AlanRFarrington   (Oct 19, 2009, 2:47 pm)
My Computer decided to start working today, so I went ahead and got the adjudication ready, and it should be out on time (or at least as close to on time as all the other adjudications). I'll be able to adjudicate the winter turn tonight and hopefully I'll have a new computer by the next deadline. Send your orders to me and if I need Andy I'll relay them to him.

Dc 277 Modern : Deadline Reminder - AlanRFarrington   (Oct 17, 2009, 12:54 pm)
Good Morning everyone,

Since my computer is completely dead it means two things: Adjudications will be hard to do, and internet access will be severely limited.
As a result I won't be able to chase people around to get their orders, and when I do have time to adjudicate I'm going to need all orders in.
Orders are due Monday night, adjudication will come out sometime after that, but if I don't have your orders when I sit down to do it, you WILL have an NMR.
I'm looking into the possibility of a stand in GM until I can buy a new computer, or begging my girlfriend to let me download realpolitik on her computer!

Thanks everyone for your patience, and promptness with orders,
Alan Farrington

Hey guys,

My computer has completely died just in the last couple of days, so my internet connection will be spotty at best. I'll try to keep it under control as best I can with campus computers etc. but I may need someone to take over GMing for a while.
Sorry for all the inconvenience I"ll do my best to keep this moving. [Maybe I'll Download RP onto one of the campus computers!]
