DC196 - One Late Set - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Heya gang,

We're unfortunately short one set of orders for Fall 1901. The player in question has been notified, and I fully expect the stray set to be submitted shortly. I'll put the adjudication off until morning in hopes that the missing set comes in.

Cheers!

DC196 - German Grace Period Entered - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Heya folks,

Unfortunately, we still find ourselves short a set of orders from the Kaiser. We'll move to the official German grace period and give Zach his get-out-of-jail-free card. We'll delay until tomorrow (Friday) at 23:59 PM GMT. If no German orders are forthcoming by that point, I will seek out a replacement player.

All submitted orders are locked, pending the grace period. Thanks for your patience during this short delay.

Cheers!

DC191 - Missing One Set - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Heya folks,

We're one set of adjustments short of a full set... As I goofed and fumbled the ball listing the proper deadline date, I'll allow a little grace before going ahead and adjudicating. The player has been notified, and I'll delay until tomorrow morning to see if the missing builds come in.

Have no fear, Holmes is on the case. Cheers everyone!

Heya folks,

As the subject header says - we will be seeking a new Germany. My apologies for this delay. The game will be thrown back to the recruiting page and I fully expect to be contacting everyone tomorrow with new contact details for the Kaiser...

Just some minor turbulence here - we'll be back on our way in no time. =P

Cheers!

DC191 A Study In Baltic - Winter 1902 - The Five O... - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
The docks of Oslo bristled with activity, multitudes of travellers mixing with the normal sea-going types - all seeking passage. Amid the frenzy, Watson pushed his way through to Holmes. "What do we do now, Holmes?" he asked. "The Pips has been side-lined like all the rest. Captain Openshaw won't risk the Polish blockade - instead he's returning to America."

Holmes sat for a minute, his pipe in his hand. "Watson, my good man, it appears we may be going overland. Are your legs good for a stretch?"...

---------------

It's a fleet-building Winter as all five builds are boats. Poland builds a pair and both Sweden and FInland raise a fleet of their own. (Rumours of Finland experimenting with special anti-Russian missile technology abound, but no special weapons are forth-coming).. =P

We'll cruise right on into Spring 1903. Deadline will be set for Friday, July 18th (11:59 PM GMT).

Cheers folks!

DC 179 Draw offer - OFFICIAL - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Since all of the remaining original players voted for the E/R/G draw, I am going to allow it and end the game.

All thanks to Mr. Morse who was willing to step in to help us; however, given that the draw was on the table [and occurred about
simultaneous to me looking for a replacement], I am going to consider it in place AFTER Danny retired from the game and BEFORE
Chris joined.

Congratulations to E/R/G on a victory. I will update the site officially tonight. I will also take end-game statements for the game [although
I admit that that prospect is terrifying based on how this one went]. I will give an official commentary on the game and will allow others
their opinion. I will only filter it IF I feel it is inappropriate; no, slamming me does not count as inappropriate so that IS allowed. I really
hope that the next game for each of you [me included] is a much smoother ride.
