Amid the crumbs of Winter 2008 can be gleaned this fortune cookie wisdom: You may attend a party where strange customs prevail ...

Obviously someone has been observing our game. =P But speaking of - the congestion is eased around the Great Lakes area as Ohio and Upper Peninsula are both disbanded. Meanwhile armies are seen in San Diego , Mexico City and Calgary - fleets pop up in Anchorage and Vera Cruz.

Deadline for Spring 2009 orders will be set for Friday, May 16th (11:59 PM GMT). Cheers!

DC138 Winter Of Our Discontent - Spring 2009 - It... - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Never wear your best pants when you go to fight for freedom ...

Always proper advice.. The draw proposal is voted down by one or more players and we continue the fray. The noose tightens ever tighter around New York and Florida - but some interesting movements can be seen behind the scenes...

No retreats are required and we cruise straight on into Fall 2009. Deadline will be set for just under a weeks time, for Thursday, May 22nd (11:59 PM GMT).

As always, please let me know if you spot any errors. Cheers!

Who voted NO? We had 7 of 8 public yes votes... but I suspect it was one of those 7 that silently voted no. What gives.

A BC/CALI/MEX 3 way is the same with or without any combination HL, NY, QC, FL or CUBA.

ugh... NY feels like the Seattle Supersonics... questioning how many more lame duck seasons before they can escape and move on...

Always proper advice.. The draw proposal is voted down by one or more players and we continue the fray. The noose tightens ever tighter around New York and Florida - but some interesting movements can be seen behind the scenes...

This turn's fortune: Everyone agrees you are the best. Hell - how can you argue? =P

It might just be me, but I'm thinking that this just turned into a whole new game... Somehow the Heartlands find a way to survive, the Cuban resurgence is seriously stalled and the Californians find a little Deliverence in the hills of Tennesee...

A whole schwack of retreats are due after the Fall - deadline will be set for Sunday, May 25th (11:59 PM GMT) for these. As always, please just let me know if you spot any errors.

DC138 - EW 2009 Extension - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Hi folks,

My apologies - I forgot when I scheduled the retreats deadline that Jason was away for Memorial Day weekend. Obviously he can't submit a retreat when he is off gallivanting and whooping up a storm...

We'll push the EW 09 deadline back a few days to accommodate. Revised deadline will be set for Tuesday, May 27th (11:59 PM GMT). I will, however, adjudicate earlier if I receive the last couple of orders in and marked FINAL.

Thanks all. Cheers!

Retreats are every which way this season... The scramble to reorganize from the last turn has begun. I actually have all but one set of adjustments in hand so we'll have a quick Winter deadline. I'm hoping I can have all adjustments in by Wednesday, May 28th (11:59 PM GMT). However, if this is too quick a turn-around, please just let me know.

Cheers!

However, I think some of you have your own problems with no time to go gallivanting on doughy rescue missions.. =P Cuba disbands the entire navy, New York throws a Boston tea party and Mexico builds a fleet on the west coast. Meanwhile, BC sends a divison on a reconnaissance mission to the slopes of Whistler and California slams down a whole lotta heat.

Now is the time to make circles with mints, do not haste any longer ...

Yes, the fortune cookies get more and more inscrutable and mysterious... =P

Meanwhile, some mea-culpas from last adjudication. Obviously it wasn't the Cuban army convoying the Mexican fleets.. That would just be nuts.. =P The Mexicans blinded me with Tequila... Obviously I meant that Florida fleets convoyed Mexican armies. Really. *grin*

Also, I missed entering two of California's orders. The army in San Antonio supported Houston, and the army in Tennessee held in place. My apologies for the errors - however no map correction is needed.

Which brings us to Summer. California retreats to Milwaukee and I have nothing further that I can screw up. =)

Deadline for Fall 2010 orders will be set for Thursday, June 12th (11:59 PM GMT). Cheers folks!

The fortune cookie for Fall 2010 lets us know that "What you left behind is more mellow than wine." ...

But tell that to California, as he gets jumped by almost every remaining power on the board. The southern state holds its own though, ensuring some quality shore-leave time for their troops in Hawaii. Meanwhile, Cuba and Florida once again trade centers and the the Big Apple continues to be chewed down to its core...

Sadly, we bid farewell to our Heartland dicatator with this round. Andy, you came, you conquered, you left us too soon... My thanks for playing this one out right to the bitter bitter. =)

Two retreats needed, as well as a third from the Heartland if Andy so chooses. Deadline for Early Winter 2010 retreats will be set for Saturday, June 14th (11:59 PM GMT).

Cheers! Let me know if you spot any errors..
