Nothing exciting, not bumps so all moves go through as ordered.
However, those moves are already setting us up for some smashing skirmishes!
Our gracious moderators have also asked all GMs to include a note that we are always looking for more GMs.
The last year has brought staggering growth to DC and as you know, it is all volunteer effort that keeps it going.
Anyone who has played a game is eligible to GM, and it takes far less time to adjudicate then to play, and the Ajducations themselves are very easy with a tool like Reakpolitik.
It also gives you rare insight into the workings of the game and can improve your play.
If you have any questions about GMing a game feel free to ask me or any of the other GMs, or especially our intrepid moderators, Stephen, Mike, and the Fish formerly known as Trout.
Ok, My duty to the club complete, lets set our Fall orders for Saturday, March 1st (at) 9PM East Coast US Time
As always, please let me know if you spot any errors.

A Budapest - Serbia

Ok, we have seven good confirms and we are ready to Go!
Below you will find your national assignments and those of your potential vict.. er allies.
I have attached a starting position map and .DPY file (for those who like to use RealPolitik to plan).
If you ahve any questions please ask me or any of our three intrepid moderators, Mike, Trout and Steve (mike(at)diplomaticcorp.com (mike(at)diplomaticcorp.com); former.trout(at)gmail.com (former.trout(at)gmail.com); stevelytton(at)hotmail.com (stevelytton(at)hotmail.com)).
Also please note that Paul Arnold has 2 email addresses, the first is his work account, the second is his home. He can only access the work account from work, and cannot get Hotmail there, so he has requested that all comms to him go to both accounts.
We have a good mix of first timers and old hands, so lets give the new guys a good clean intro to the hobby!
I will set the first (Spring 1900) deadline for Next Tuesday, Febuary 26th (at) 9PM East Coast US Time.
Again, please make sure you have read my house rules (Available on DC, attached to DC160) and just disregard the stuff in there relating to the WOT playtest.
And make sure you subscribe to our game in the forum.
Good Hunting!

Subject: DC 160 - Replacement confusion
Ok, so apparently I need to not try running game once my thoughts are already on Vacation.
So here is what happened:
James Woodward, our Austrian player went on Paternity leave and had tried to get Viceroy to cover for him. By the time we got through the discussion that Viceroy really couldn't take over as he is playing Turkey, Austria had been eliminated anyway.
Then Germany NMR'd and I thought "Oh crap, I never got a replacement for Woody"
So then Jorge steped up and offered to take the place of a German who did not have a baby and is only suffering from his first NMR.
SO, the much delayed adjudication will go out today with Germany's NMR and play will continue when I return after may 4th sometime.
Thank you for your indulgence!

DC 160 - Kaiser has a bun - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
Our friend the Kaiser has had to step from the table as he is the proud father of a new baby (I have no more detail then that, sorry)
Before he left he tried to get a replacement, however he chose a player in this game!
He dropped off before another could be found.
So I am going to put this game on hold as we search for a replacement (won't be too long) and that will also get us past my vacation so We will resume ASAP, but not before May 2nd.
Sorry for the delay to the game all.
Trout, can you poll the Light brigade for someone willing to take a 4 pack Germany in Spring of 04?
Thanks,
Jason
