There's some hacking and chopping going on this Spring as the Swedes land yet another army and the Bretons get up to a convoy of their own. Not as much shopping and scones, but that's the Dark Ages for you..
A couple retreats are needed after the Spring moves - one from the Scots and one from the Norse. Deadline for Summer 834 retreats will be set for Thursday, August 14th (11:59 PM GMT).

So, apparently I can't tell the difference between ION and SMY.
Italy correctly ordered to ION from EMS, and not to SMY as I had clicked into RP. Obviously the Italian wasn't trying to cut his own support.
EVERYTHING else is the same on the map except the Italian fleet is in ION rather than EMS.
I will send out a corrected map with retreats. Sorry about that.

Great wisdom from simple pages... Meanwhile I wish I could say that the unexpected happens in Fall 2013 but, uhm, no can do. The curtain falls for California as BC actively supports the advancing Floridian armies into the Heartland.
My grateful thanks go to Ray for taking the plunge and learning the map in order to play this one. The Brucester is counted out in this one, but I'm sure it will be just a matter of time before we're all dancing to his strings once again. =P

Thanks for getting all orders in on time.
My deployment has been very poorly coordinated, and I'm not really sure if I'm leaving on time. In light of that, I'll be setting standard 24 hour retreat and build/disband deadlines. One one hand I blame myself. I normally can get a 24 hour warnign to remind people the deadline is coming.
On the other hand, I have urged players to send prelims after they see the adjudication, the dealdine is included in the adjudication and on the Dc199 game page at www.diplomaticcorp.com and i record the deadline on the site so it shows in the player's personal profile.
