One retreat required for the Summer, from Russia in Constantinople as the Sultan takes back Byzantium. Deadline for the Summer 1906 retreat will be set for Monday, Apr 21st (11:59 PM GMT).

Remember, orders aren't confirmed until you get an email back from me stating such. For multiple versions of orders, I like to use the following format:
Blackmarch [or dc119]: English Orders S01 [1]
and then vary the number in parentheses for each subsequent set. As a rule of thumb, you should send in orders pretty quick as conditional and then change them after diploming. This often avoids the dastardly NMR [no moves requested]. NMRs result in all units standing and two NMRs puts your country in anarchy for the remainder of the game [and draws the ire of your GM who WILL do all he can to have you greylisted from the site].
I am attaching a copy of my house rules. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I will have the dcsite for our game updated shortly and will copy all communications to the dc179 Forum on the website.

The French fleet, with only one valid retreat, sails off to MAO. Austria raises plenty of ground troops. Turkey, with both Con and Smy already occupied, builds his new fleet in Ank. Meanwhile, France suffers an NBR, and we say farewell to the eliminated Italy and Russia.

Again not much movement as powers become support-happy, although Turkey
does fully assimilate and gain the supplies of Sevastopol at the expense
of England, who breaks even by doing the same with Belgium at the
expense of Germany.
A DIAS (so 5-way) has been proposed. Votes are due at the latest with
your Spring orders; however, I encourage you to submit your vote
(options are yes, no, or abstain) before that so that the game can
either end without the hassle of another movement phase or I can inform
everyone that the proposal has failed with the winter adjudication.
Remember that the proposal passes with at least one "yes" vote and no
"no" votes.
Winter adjustments are due in two days on Tuesday at 9 pm eastern;
however, I will adjudicate early if I receive adjustments before the
deadline from the two powers who have adjustments due.

Sorry for the delay, but it seems two of the four I needed builds or disbands from also were delayed. I was busy this weekend, it seems when Michigan actually gets warm outside, my wife likes to do yard work. lol. Fortunately the band aids on my fingers don't keep me from typing now.

Bureaucratic stuff:

I always check the diplomaticcorp.com forum for PMs (private messages) before adjudications as a back-up to email - even if I have orders from everyone. If you did not get an acknowledgment of your last emailed orders from me you should consider using the forum's PM feature.
Adjudications will be emailed - I do not attach the dpy or maps to the email, instead, I make the orders, maps, and the RP .dpy file available online at: http://mainecav.org/diplomacy/dc154 The game's page will also be updated at Diplomaticcorp.com
Because my games have had people world-wide playing in them, I set my deadlines for 2359 (11:59 pm) Greenwich Mean Time (gmt). It is up to the players to figure out what that translates to in his/her local time.

Thanks for the compliments!
I dont think you were here for the early days, but Diplomaticcorp was a similar Yahoo Group to to Cat for a good 7 years. As a Yahoo Group, things couldnt grow... The Yahoo database was too limiting, there was no way to create a mechanism to host the games, etc. Putting up the website definitely allowed things to evolve.
Of course, hopefully you'll just stay and play here!

An Austrian NMR proves to not be too costly as most of his neighbors play defense this spring.
France pulls off a very nice 2-fleet convoy attack on the English Home Isles.
No retreats are needed, so we will move on to the fall, with orders due Monday May 5th (at) 9pm.
