DC141 Seven Sinners - A misfiling in Moscow - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Heya guys,

The eggs on my face here this time. Andres did indeed get me orders - which I promptly went, misfiled and forgot about. With apologies to our good Tsar, here are the corrected DC141 Fall 1906 results.

Two major differences occur with the inclusion of the Russian orders - there is a bounce in St. Petes and a bounce in Rome. The southern bounce results in the disbandment of the French Army Naples and means that the French gain a build for the winter turn.

Hopefully that about does it - but please let me know if you spot any further errors. =)

Cheers!

DC129 In Rainbows - Fall 1910 - Motion Picture Sou... - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Early version has a second verse:
Beautiful angel
Pulled apart at birth
Limbless and helpless
I can't even recognize you

Hey gang,

Our missing orders filter in and the Fall 1910 turn rolls right along. With it comes continued movement behind the Western lines, but at the front all remains static. No builds required means that we move ahead into Spring 1911 with the deadline set for Wednesday, May 7th (11:59 PM GMT).

We have multiple draw proposals and a couple house rule change suggestions. I will put these on an email tomorrow as am much too tired tonight to do it. However, this being the second year in a row with no change in SC ownership I feel obliged to point out that if one more year passes with no change then the game will be declared a DIAS draw.

Cheers folks!

Fly the Jolly Roger, me lad, and see where the High Seas takes you. Cup up your dice and hear me now as I tell you the tale of the three-toed Southerners and their sacking of Tartarus. Or hold in your jakes as we cruise by the Village of Aeolus and watch the fierce North wipe the blood from their crusty sabres... Tis enough to turn me beard white...

One retreat needed from the East - the aforementioned Village of Aeolus. Deadline for the retreat will be set for Friday, May 2nd (11:59 PM GMT). I will adjudicate earlier, however, if the retreat is received and marked FINAL.

Heya gang,

Here is a raft of proposals for you all to consider. I have numbered them for convenience, starting with the two HR modifications.. Please have your votes to me on these 6 proposals with your Spring 1911 orders. All proposals must be unanimously accepted to pass. Failure to vote will count as a negative vote.

If more than one of the draw proposals passes, the draw that involves the LEAST amount of players will succeed. (i.e. if both proposals 5 and 6 are unanimously accepted, the 4-way draw will be used.)

1. Proposal to amend the house rules mid-game to allow for standing orders

2. Proposal to amend the house rules to allow for NMRs

3. Proposal for a 2-way draw (England and France)

4. Proposal for a 3-way draw (England, Russia and Turkey)

5. Proposal for a 4-way (everyone but Germany)

6. Proposal for a DIAS (Draw including all survivors)

DC170 fall 1906 results - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
First things first, all of the endgame proposals available during fall 1906 are defeated, so the game continues!

England takes control of Spain, Germany sails into Western Med, and the two powers working together overwhelm the French army in Ruhr. All other action in the north ends in a standoff. In the south, Austria gains control of Naples, while Turkey takes over Tunis.

The only dislodged unit is the French army in Ruhr, which has no valid retreats and is destroyed.

Winter 1906 adjustments, due tomorrow, Friday 5/2 at 3pm Pacific, are as follows:
England build 2 (a build was waived in 1905)
France remove 1
Turkey build 1

DC166 (wb0821) - Fall 1906 - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
England pulls the trigger on Germany this turn, sending the Kaiser to retirement. A big salute goes to Dan for toughing it out and never failing to get orders in on time. Thanks man - we'll see you in the next one. =)

Two retreats needed after the Fall turn as well as several builds or disbands. Deadline for Winter 1906 adjustments will be Friday, May 2nd (11:59 PM GMT).

Cheers!
