Russia gains Munich with help from Italy. Italy crushes the Turkish army in Albania, but in the process leaves Trieste in Austrian control. Only one retreat is due, but it will require an Autumn 1903 retreat phase: The German army in Munich may retreat to
Bohemia, Burgundy, Kiel, Ruhr, or OTB. Turkey has taken Rumania. Turkey gets one more build and there's now
a Turkish army in Rumania.
The Russian fleet in Rumania has no retreat and is disbanded.
However, by losing the SC, Russia still has one disband to order.
Turkey gets an extra build.

Turkey has taken Rumania. Turkey gets one more build and there's now
a Turkish army in Rumania.
The Russian fleet in Rumania has no retreat and is disbanded.
However, by losing the SC, Russia still has one disband to order.
Turkey gets an extra build.

Ah, Fall 03. The time when a young man's hostility turns to support. Austria lends support to it's Italian invaders, Germans on Russian soil support their former foes, who in turn support the English. It warms my bitter, jaded heart to see such worldwide cooperation and harmony. Could world peace be not just a dream, but a reality? Ok, almost certainly not, but it was a turn where supports dominated the board.

I am very sorry for my rant yesterday.
There is no excuse for it, but as an explanation: it's been one of
those weeks (and it's only Wednesday!). I was going to growl at
someone. It might've been the woman working in the corner store
struggling with the cash register. It might've been the bus driver
who was trying to re-position his bus at the red light while I was
crossing the road. In the end, it was you guys. Sorry.

Thanks, much, for GMing. It is a thankless job. I started Gming over 30
years ago in a postal 'zine for play-by-mail Diplomacy. You had to type up
everything, steal copier time at work at night, and mail stuff with real
stamps. NMRs were no fun then, especially when you had 3-4 deadlines.
Discovered the Internet (me and Al Gore) and started playing the e-mail
Diplomacy then. Ran automated judges, which were nice in helping you manage
the games, but the personal touch of having a real live GM is preferred.
I hate a game that is spoiled by NMR's, but those are the rules for this
tourney. There are other choices out there if you don't like NMR's. Again,
thanks for your efforts.
