Guns, Germs and Steel 1264 / DC110 - Game On! - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
Hey there Imperial Folks!
It's with great pleasure that I announce the arrival of Dave Watson to the game. He has been an observer for the last several turns, and has now been good enough to offer to step in to helm the Chinese position. I'm extremely happy to have him in the game with the rest of you fine blood-thirsty cut-throats. =)
We'll reboot Fall 1864 - orders are unlocked and may be changed. Dave has not told me that we can go ahead without some time to diplome, so we will reset the Fall 1864 deadline for Wednesday, September 26th (11:59 PM GMT). I know this has been quite a delay but I thank you all for hanging in there.
I have attached the Summer 1864 map, as well as the Spring and Summer 1864 adjudications. Please keep in mind that the map can also always be found at:

Cheers folks. Welcome Dave. And Game On!

Of course I say that with the utmost hope because I honestly doubt we shall see any of that given the struggle we are having getting anyone to send in orders....

DC112 spring 1904 results and retreat deadline - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
My apologies for the delay, Yahoo Mail has been running v e r y s l o w l y the last couple of days.
Conflicts break out in new locations this year, as Russia's armies walk into Denmark and force their way into Galicia. Germany moves back into Munich, France reoccupies Belgium, and Austria encounters no opposition in taking Bulgaria. A new map and RP file are attached.
Austria and Italy each have a retreat -- these are due by Tuesday, September 25 at 3pm Central (US).
* Italy's army in Munich may retreat to Bohemia or OTB.
* Austria's army in Galicia may retreat to Bohemia, Vienna, or OTB.
Don't forget to visit the club's website! The latest game map is always posted there. You can also go to the Message Board and subscribe to the dc112 forum as well. Mike Sims deserves a round of applause for the various upgrades.

Sign Up Form - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
On the sign up form, there is a field that reads "Yahoo ID." This initially gave me the impression that I needed a Yahoo account to sign up. Eventually I just made something up, which apparently hasn't been a problem. So, if you're planning to have the club exclusively on this site and not on Yahoo, you might want to consider changing the form.
Just a minor point. [/list][Reply] |
DC123 - SOB - Uesugi Replacement Found - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
Hi folks,
I'd like to retract the call for a replacement Uesugi leader in DC123 - Shade Of The Bonsai. Patrick got word and orders to me yesterday, and after mulling it over I decided to allow him to remain in the game. My apologies to those who have shown interest in the position, and my regrets for the confusion caused to those involved in the game.
Thanks everyone,

DC123 - Shade Of THe Bonsai Spring 1571 - A Hard T... - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
From The Regulations Of Imagawa Ryoshun:
Just as water will conform to the shape of the vessel that contains it, so will a man follow the good and evil of his companions
Spring 1571 find the Uesugi fall into a holding pattern and predictably find themselves retreating from Kozuke. Meanwhile, the Mori rid the map of another lawless Ronin army in Izumo and the Oda throw a stick into the spokes of the Asakura's attempt to do the same in Mino. The regional conflicts begin to take shape, although the big picture remains far from certain in the Japanese mists.
One retreat required from the Uesugi before we can move into the Fall. The army in Kozuke may retreat to Dewa or Shimotsuke. Patrick, please have your retreat to me by Monday, September 24th (11:59 PM GMT.)
As always, please just let me know if you spot any errors in the adjudication. Cheers everyone!
Trout

DC123 Shade Of The Bonsai - Spring 1571 Corrected - test_gm (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am) |
Hi all,
Well, with embarrassment I have to admit that I missed an Asakura order revision. The army in Echizen is ordered to Tango, and instead of a Mino attack it was an attempt on Yamashiro which, due to the odious Oda, meets the same fate.
Corrected adjudication is below. My apologies for any confusion - totally my bad. Thanks to Joshua for pointing out my lapse.
Cheers,
Trout
