DC-184 Impending Replacement of England - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Chris et al,
Sorry that wasn't clear. Yes, once the new England is found (and I think I already have,) I'll give ample time for negotiations before setting a deadline.

Wolf -
Sorry, it wasn't clear to me from your message. Once
the new England is brought in, you'll set a new
deadline that gives him and us the chance to meet each
other and discuss things, right?

DC-184 New England, New Deadline - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Folks,
I'm happy to announce the quick response of our new England. Mark (mdemagogue(at)gmail.com) will be stepping in from here on out.
The new Spring 1902 deadline, in order to facilitate negotiations, is Wednesday, 2 July at 2pm CST (7pm GMT.)

Mark,
I forgot to send you my house rules, so they're attached. Please pay particular attention to the section that tripped up your predecessor. You miss a deadline and you get 24 hours grace to get me orders. You miss another one and you're out, no questions, no grace.

Other than that, everybody have fun. Talk to the new guy. Send in revised orders if you'd like. If not, I've got prelims from everybody but England, so you're covered.

Thanks and Welcome,
The White Wolf

Dc159 As expected - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Dc159

Nick, Trout

As somewhat expected the Russian SOLO that was proposed has passed so this game officially end at Spring 1906.

Although it was a difficult game, I (and others) definately gained some insights in the variant of deluge and how it could best be run. I am going to run a second run of deluge - as straight gunboat game in the next couple of weeks. If you have any feedback on the game - please dont hesitate to let me know.

End of Game Statements can be published in the DC 189 forum.

Final Standings

Russia - SOLO - Trout 7 SC
Turkey - Survivial - Nick 5 SC
France - Survivial - (in CD) 1 SC
Italy - Eliminated 1905 - Garry
Germany - Eliminated 1904 - Joe
England - Eliminated 1904 - Andy
Austria - Eliminated 1904 - Glenn

Final Map has been attached. Thankyou for the game.

DC 164 - Replacement Vote - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
You all suck.
We have a 3-3 tie on the Replacement/CD vote.
So, we will press on with finding a replacement, but I will set a time limit.
If we do not have a new Kaiser in 2 weeks, we will press on with Germany in CD.

Trout, can you put this out to the brigade?
This is a 6 SC Germany, Summer 1905, missing Munich but with the lowlands and all of Scandinavia except Norway.
Tactical position is challenging but recoverable.

dc179 Blackmarch Updated Map Post-Retreats - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
All,
Reminder - our deadline is next week, Wednesday July 2nd.

It was pointed out to me that I neglected to send out an updated map post-retreats from the Spring.
Attached is that update.

Remember - the shading of the home centers represents who owned them in the Fall. That way it should help show who has centers at risk and where.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

DC138 Winter Of Our Discontent - Summer 2011 - It'... - test_gm   (Sep 13, 2007, 12:00 am)
Alright, well lets propose then a Florida/Mexico/BC draw to be voted on this fall season. I'd be happy if we could have a binding public vote and get it done, but I know thats not the way its done 'round hereSmile

Also might be nice to call an end to it before we've a long vacation break.

Ray... lets end it... nothing looks good for either of us and unless one of these guys is hungry for a solo, then there is no reason to play on...

Andrew wanna steal NSC before the game ends though... give me that last, extremely miniscule satisfaction over Sims!!

Despite the falling-back nature of the turn, our fortune cookie for this round is surprisingly upbeat: You will receive a fortune. (cookie)

Of course, it could just have been written by a bloke with an all-too-literal sense of humour. =P

In any event, Manitoba , San Francisco and the Mid Atlantic are the fall-back positions for BC and California . Which means we move forwards into the Fall of 2011. Deadline will be set for Saturday, June 28th (11:59 PM GMT). After this, we will try to squeeze the winter adjustments in - but please note that one of our company will be on vacation from July 2nd to July 16th. The Spring 2012 turn will most likely be scheduled for a couple days after the middle of the month.

Cheers folks,

Heh, ironically enough that'd misorder - the space is named Anchorage for some reason and has very nearly caused me to misorder damn near every turn.

Oh, and a yes vote on the BC/Mex/Florida draw. Sorry JasonSmile
