It's a challenging position but by all means competitive. And as a gunboat game it's less of a time commitment than normal. Deadlines 3/1/2 days (moves/retreats/adjustments) but never on weekends. J

DC279 - a 1648 variant game - needs a new Austrian replacements following the 1659 Fall Moves.

Austria's a 7 SC power currently and may well expand on that total, next to perhaps regain

couple of times, back in the 1990's, but am really enjoying getting
back involved via this website.

Mentoring is sich an interesting idea with Diplomacy.  Since we all have different playstyles (and some have several playstyles themselves!), a mentor can so easily twist and warp a young mind.  Smile
