DC487, playing the Viking variant, is in need of a brave and valiant soul to assume the throne of Constantine and lead the East Roman Empire to glory and bring Europe out of the Dark Ages!

The game is three years young, and the position is manageable, although the Abbasids pose a threat to Christendom.

Now that I've read Hobbits and Elves EOGs I remember the HELP alliance.
I'd totally forgotten about the Pirates. Man this was a long game.

Congrats to all the winners! And also the survivors. Definitely seemed
to be a long hard fought battle.

Hobbits EOG (super high level that remember)

At the start of the games I quickly developed the habit of making allies
and then stabbing them really ruthlessly. It worked surprisingly well
and
I could believe my own luck and how fast I was growing. I know at one
point I had a great opportunity to stab the elves but decided that I had
been stabbing too many players and that I would stop stabbing people and
looking form a consolidated alliance.

In the south we formed the HELP alliance and in particular HELP was in a
great position to wrap the remaining players in the south and push hard
north before while the north was still a jumbled mess that hadn't
consolidated much. I looked to try and push things as quick as I could
and
definitely left myself quite exposed. Temptation proved to be too much
for
Garry and he stabbed me hard. Tried to convince the Leps to join me and
fight The elves but they stayed with the elves. I think we could have
succeeded and he would have been in a position to reap the lions share
of
the gains, but can't really begrudging him for siding with the elves.
He
was in a good position either way. Once that failed I resigned to make
myself as difficult to kill as possible. Sorry to the pirates for
stabbing
them. You were a good ally and I just stabbed you out of desperation.
Glad to hear I did a good job of making things difficult. In the end I
could only hold on do long and had to balance getting support from the
north while they wanted my centers more than they really wanted me
alive.

Was interesting to watch the knights stab. Really grew like crazy there
for a while.

Look forward to next time. Mike, hoping there can be a spot for me.
Thank you much for running the game Mike. I know it has to be a LOT of
work!

Also thanks to all the players for a great game!

Subject: dc442 s25 results - DRAW!

There you have it!  24.5 years played, 4-way LEAK draw.  Tim of the Gnomes and Pat of the Dwarves manage survivals.  483 days.

It's the longest Haven game ever (by turns)... previous was dc224 at 20.5 years... but shorter in real life time, as dc224 took 575 days to do those 20 years... about 100 days longer!  This game falls shy of any "overall" records, as dc92 cleanly retains both, for a game that went 36 years over 595 days.  I think this game comes in at 3rd overall, behind dc92 at 36 years and dc122 at 29 years.

EOG's are expected from all!

Next we're heading to Disney World in about 3 weeks... After the return from that, I'll start up the next Haven.  Smile  Might open it before, and let it gather joins up until it starts.
Enjoy!!

Hey! Joe! I remember that. We tried to attack the Knights, but got swamped on both sides. Wonder how that turned out for everyone...
