DC-272 Spring 1459 Adjudication - TheWhiteWolf   (Dec 09, 2009, 3:02 pm)
Guys,
Sorry once again for being behind the curve. If this was "The Weakest Link", I think I'd be off the show by now. This season is marred by misorders and border misunderstandings. Also, we have a draw proposal on the table. Please vote by the fall deadline.

"A government which changes often, according to the caprice of the one or the other faction, can never be good, and consequently never can secure to itself the goodwill and attachment of its citizens." - Niccoló Machiavelli, The Discourses. 1517

Gentlemen,
The deadline is nigh upon us, and I have received a whopping ONE order. Not order set. Order.

As it wouldn't make sense to NMR the entire board, it looks like I may have to delay yet again. Please give me a pleasant surprise - a boardful of orders in my inbox tomorrow evening.

Thanks for bearing with me. Internet has been restored to the Jameson household, and I'm going to spend the next couple days catching up. I'll send emails for each game I GM individually, and I'll work on getting up-to-date with games I'm playing in.

Thanks again,

Folks,
As some of you may know, I spent this past weekend moving closer to work. Part of the pain of moving is physical (are you as sore as me, Blue?) and part is a certain disconnection. The specific disconnect that affects Dip is my internet - I can access it from work, but Comcast hasn't seen fit to transfer my home service yet. (And I don't have any map support from work.)
I'll let you guys all know as soon as I find out when I'll be connected. Until then, I'm putting a temporary hold on deadlines for games I'm running. Mike, Trout, and Blue, I'll try to make sure my moves are in on time using the JPG or GIF maps you send out with adjudications. If you wouldn't mind spreading the word to my boardmates that I'm here but a bit out of the loop, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for your patience, guys. I'll try to make this as painless as possible.

Guys,
Thanks for getting all your orders in on time, effectively showing me that there's no reason to worry or throw childish GM-fits. Sorry this wasn't out last night - life is throwing the book at me right now. No more excuses, though, so here's the turn.

DC-272 STILL Missing Four Order Sets - TheWhiteWolf   (Nov 18, 2009, 5:26 pm)
Folks,
The deadline is tomorrow (for real, this time.) I am STILL missing four sets of orders. I WILL NMR you. On top of that, with the false start I gave last week, it means you've all had a nice, early reminder, and therefore NO EXCUSE to be late. I will happily replace anyone who NMRs this season if they fail to contact me within 24 hours of the adjudication's publication, as is my standard policy.

DC-272 Retraction of Hissy Fit - TheWhiteWolf   (Nov 13, 2009, 10:02 pm)
Guys,
It's been pointed out that I'm an idiot (though much more polite than that.) The deadline is not a day past, but a week hence. I was only looking at the day, and not the date, in my deadline matrix. I abase myself shamelessly at your collective feet. Game on, folks.

DC-272 Deadline? - TheWhiteWolf   (Nov 13, 2009, 9:42 am)
Hey folks,
I know I didn't send out a deadline reminder, or even a note at the time of the deadline, but that doesn't forgive the fact that four of you are delinquent. Please get me your orders by Monday, 16 November at the modified time of 6pm EST (11pm GMT). I'll NMR anyone who hasn't submitted orders by then.
Also, the modified time will remain in effect for the foreseeable future, as I work long hours and can't generally adjudicate at my previous deadline time anyway. Enjoy the extra few hours.

Guys,
Retreat came in early, GM flaked. Well, at least I'm getting it out on time, instead of extremely late. Sorry about that.

DC-272 Spring 1458 Adjudication - TheWhiteWolf   (Nov 06, 2009, 1:35 pm)
Guys,
Sadly, we have an NMR this round. Due to the extension I gave, I'm not going to give any extra time to track Joe down. Florence ends up sitting on its hands this round.
Despite my best efforts (manually ordering all Florentine units to hold,) Joe had a dislodged army with no safe haven, so it's disbanded. Austria also lost an army, and Milan has a retreat due.
