DC501 - Fall 1909 - Operations   (Oct 24, 2014, 8:41 pm)
An interesting year in the Balkans, where Turkey fends off the Russian attack on Sevastopol by actually backing Italy's own attack. Unfortunately, ground is still lost further south. There is only one retreat: French A Munich can only retreat to Ruhr, so ordered. As always, if you'd rather retreat OTB, please let me know ASAP.  Builds/Disbands below: France:  8  +2
Germany:  6  -1
Italy:  13  +1
Russia:  5  -1
Turkey:  2  -1  Deadline for Winter is October 27th.

Another change, gentleman. It was overlooked that RP is programmed with the true DP rules regarding all NMRs causing a state of civil disorder, hence it showed Germany's units as being disbanded. They actually have retreats coming. Things are so much easier when moves are turned in.... German A Munich can retreat to Silesia
German F North Sea can retreat to Yorkshire, Edinburgh, Norway, Skagerrak, Denmark, Helgoland Bight or London  Deadline for these retreats is October 19th.

German forces flounder in the absence of orders from Berlin, which turns out to be costly, as this is the season France makes its move.  In addition to the moves, there is another draw proposal, a three-way split between France, Russia and Italy. Please cast your votes with the Fall 1909 orders.  Deadline for Fall 1909 is October 23rd.  Turkish F Smyrna can retreat to Syria, so ordered. As always, if you want to retreat OTB, let me know ASAP.

Turkish F Eastern Mediterranean can retreat to Syria, so ordered. If you'd rather it go OTB, please let me know ASAP.  At least one of the powers also is sensing a bogging down in the region, and a DIAS has been proposed. Please cast your vote with your Fall

In a not unexpected turn of events, the start of the new year has old rivalries put aside as the remaining powers form a seeming alliance to keep Italy from the top spot. Is it too late? Only time will tell.. There are a few retreats this turn. Each unit has only one place to go, so in the interest of saving time, I took the liberty of placing them; though technically any or all of you can disband to rebuild in the Winter, if you so wish. If any of you wants to do that, please just let me know as soon
