Folks,
I'm sorry to have to air one player's dirty laundry, but this is starting to really get to me. Not only have I been talked down to, but now I have emails from other players.
For the record, Spain did NOT legally order F Por - MAO. When Tim sent me his original orders, he sent me three spring orders and the build in Portugal. I received this email before the winter turn. I received nothing else until ten minutes after the adjudication was released, when he sent me LATE orders including one for F Por. He even acknowledged in the subject line that the orders were late.
Obviously, I will not change the results now, since the adjudication was available for Tim to read before he sent his orders in. At least, that's how the time stamps in my email make it appear.
In my house rules, I clearly state that missing a deadline, even by a few minutes, will result in punitive action. Obviously, this is not the case. However, Tim did send revised orders after the deadline, which is similar enough to fall under this rule.
I am not changing the adjudication, as I have already said to Tim. I would appreciate it if this matter was dropped, including complaining to other players. If anybody (not exclusively Tim; everybody else, too) disagrees with this, feel free to take it up with me privately.

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
