A&E 090205 / DC240: The Fall 1769 Retreat season has been adjudicated. The Turkish fleet retreats to the Ionian Sea. Build orders are needed from Britain, Denmark, and Turkey (because of the destruction of A Paris), while a disband order is needed from France. The deadline for Winter 1769 is Mon, May 25th.

We even have a bonus feature: Retreat press!

PRESS: English
AP England: The press corp in London would like it to be known that they have been sacked. If anybody is familiar with the movie LA Story, with Steve Martin,
the London press corp did a similar thing to what Steve did when he
advanced filmed the weather, only to have it go south on him when his
forecast for sun ended up being aired during a pouring rain. The press
clipping to the Turkish player was "mailed in" long in advance of the
deadline, and when the update of the most recent talks from Turkey were
passed on to the press corp, there was nobody in the print room qualified to revise the outgoing press. Shoddy work, that hopefully
will not be repeated during this war. Now back to the feature
presentation.
