Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

Folks,
I hope nobody gets this more than once, but I wanted to hit everyone who needed to know. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will not be leaving town until this weekend (at the earliest.) I'll have no problem meeting any current deadlines or running turns for deadlines I've already set, so I don't see any major problems. I'll update you all as I learn more details.
