The DIAS passes with 4 yes votes. Since the draw passes, moves are not adjudicated and the board position remains the same from last year... (heh -- and the year before that, and the year before that... )

Final season: Spring 13 (Spring 208 BC).
25 seasons.
224 days of real-life time, making for an average of about 9 days per season.

That sure was confusing having the years count backwards!

Congratulations to:
Rupert / Gaul (15), Garry / Egypt (9), Steve / Scythia (Cool, and Trout / Persia (Cool for their 4-way draw!

In 5th place is Jerry / Rome, eliminated year 9
In 6th place is Lee / Carthage, eliminated year 6
In 7th place is Josh / Macedonia, eliminated year 5
In 8th place is Tony / Germania, Civil Disorder spring of year 12

I personally thought this map was outstanding, and enjoyed every minute of it! Also copied on this game-end are Tez and Kornel, the map creators in case you guys want to keep stats on it. There was some really great press too, which makes any game more entertaining. This is certainly a variant that I would consider playing in some time.

Looking at how things are now, I might have liked to see some action in the east... Rupert was 6 sc from a solo, surely gaining 6 would take quite a fight. Would that have been far enough off that he couldnt have gotten it? We will never know, at least you all felt it wasn't worth risking.

EGS's are definitely welcome and encouraged! Be sure to copy all.

Enjoy,
-mike

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
