Openness: As a sculptor views an uncarved slab of marble with an open-mind, so does a new player view a game of Diplomacy. The history of the game unwritten, the paths it will take and the shape of the results lie in the future, to be known only after the contest is completed.

For those of you who have submitted orders marked as final, in response to the effort to accelerate the current turn, thank you. I have not received orders from at least one player, so at this point, I can't yet adjudicate. I am prepared to run the turn as soon as I have received a full complement of orders. Thanks, everyone!
