Farsightedness: The Butterfly Effect states that a butterfly that flaps its wings in Malaysia could cause a typhoon in British Columbia. So too could minor variations in one part of the board affect play across the board. The Captain of Watch asesses the board for all possible impacts - both immediate and long-term.

Hello everyone. We are desperately need of a replacement for a PBEM game of Europe 1615. The game has just started, so no major changes have occurred on the board yet. I do not have a description of the rules online at this time but it can be sent via email as a PDF. Briefly, this version of the game borrows a number of ideas from other games and variants of Diplomacy. It is set during the years leading up to and beyond the start of the Thirty Years War. If you have ever played Ambition and Empire or Payola, you may be comfortable playing this variant. Thanks for you attention.
