Openness: As a sculptor views an uncarved slab of marble with an open-mind, so does a new player view a game of Diplomacy. The history of the game unwritten, the paths it will take and the shape of the results lie in the future, to be known only after the contest is completed.

Don't forget, fall 1904 orders are due in 22 hours, at 3pm Central (US). I am missing orders from at least one player, so please send them in!

Also, I want to extend well-wishes to our departed Archduke Andy, who has encountered a real-life situation that has taken him away from Diplomacy for the time being.

Diplomacy games may contain lying, stabbing, or deliberately deceiving communications that may not be suitable for and may pose a hazard to young children, gullible adults, and small farm animals.
