Well I guess I’ll pipe up here and post an EGS since nobody else is…
Looking for something positive to take from this game, I guess we have too look at Russia’s creative words… my favorites being
“yeah I agreed to a dmz, but I didn’t agree I wouldn’t go there” and
“it wasn’t a lie, it was a betrayal”. Those were good for a laugh, but overall the game got pretty slow at the end, and so I voted yes just to see if anyone else wanted to play it out. Yuri, I’m surprised you voted yes. You had this game wrapped up with a solo on it… Russia would never have backed down from Berlin, and so my units were totally tied up. I’m really surprised you didn’t try for it – I counted it many times, it was there. And Arne, I couldn’t be more disappointed to spend all game fighting for your survival, only to have you turn on me and give in to Russia like he’d tried to get me to eliminate you all game. Then the fact that you not only wanted to be in the draw, but specifically to exclude me from it was … well I’ll probly never understand this play.
Hopefully we’ll play again sometime, and as always I’ll watch for the chance to get in Christine’s games cuz she’s one of the best GM’s around.
Enjoy,
-mike
