... The next day, Watson found himself pacing back and forth in his friend Holmes' study. The housekeeper had informed him that Sherlock had stepped out early in the morning, before breakfast had even hit the table. A part of Watson raged inside him that he had to do something, but the calmer and rational side of him cautioned that Holmes was already out gathering the information that only his friend could.
Suddenly, without Watson hearing his arrival, Holmes slipped into the room. The good doctor got an awful fright, turning and finding his friend appearing as if an apparition, shaking off a shaggy blonde wig and removing a foul-looking fake moustache from his lips. "A scandal, it is, dear Watson. A scandal in the Gulf of Bothnia!"
In no time at all, the two were ensconced in their arm-chairs and deep in conversation. Holmes explained the details of the fracas erupting in Bothnia, and the rumours of the Finnish and Russian romance gone horribly, horribly wrong. "But where will this lead to?" Watson found himself exclaiming.
"It remains far too early to tell," Sherlock hummed. "But it looks as though even an intellectual like myself might not begin to fathom it. Yes, this Baltic scenario should prove quite the interesting case...."

Apologies once again for the trouble getting this adjudication out to you guys. Our internet and power has been going up and down all day. It seems to have finally stabilized, but I have thought that a couple times earlier today.
In any event - trusting that this email will get out, the Fall of 01 proves just as interesting as Sherlock suggests. Two seperate power struggles erupt on the board - between Finland/Russia and Sweden/Poland. But with troops stationed close to all the back-garden gates its anyone's guess about whose flowers are about to be trampled...
Builds are due from all powers. Deadline for Winter 1901 adjustments will be set for Monday, June 23rd (11:59 PM GMT).
Please let me know if you spot any errors. Cheers!
