Hi to all!
It seems that a victory to Germany is where this game is going, so ok, i’ll accept the suggestion of Rob for a solo.
Regardless of the outcome, i would like to thank you all for my return to Diplomacy, my favourite board game.
When I started this one i hadn’t played the game since around 1991, so i thank you all for this special return!
João Cartaxo

that makes two of us... unless Joao has any issues, I think this one is done... Joao you wanna weigh in on this proposal?
Well done. Doesn't sit well with me, but we've hashed over that enough between us. So again well done.
Rob

Well in that case, Rob, I would be fine with handing Germany the victory.

Hmm... I mean end of game... German Solo Victory.
Not sure what else could be implied from that?

What do you mean when you say that you propose a German solo?

Okay, moment of Truth here now. I leave for vacation on Monday and the way this is going, it appears Germany will have this solo. Currently the only thing that has any chance of stopping this is Turkey. So...
I have one question I want Turkey to answer. Will you continue to prove a point against me and hand Germany the game?
If so then I propose a German Solo and rush vote due Wednesday night (if okay with Trout). If not then at the very least open up some talks.
Jake, not sure how my aggression towards you was worse than Germany's but if you are handing him the game, then say so and end it. None of us need to wait another couple weeks before Germany finally gets that last dot if you have already committed to fighting me and not making an effort to stop him.
To me it doesn't matter, I waived my shot at a solo when I decided to honor an alliance instead of stab for easy dots and an easy solo in 1909. But there is absolutely no way Turkey can get to a prominent number without Germany getting the solo - it is impossible. Thus unless Turkey is willing to radically and immediately change his stance then there is little point to continue.

Groove with the genie.
Open sesame of love...
Unfortunately, there's no love on the board for France. Through a series of prophetic moves, our Parisian prancer manages to keep all a-bounce in the north. The south is a different matter, however... Meanwhile, things are beginning to look very good for our Kaiser...
No retreats are required, we'll move directly into Fall 1914. Deadline for orders will be set for Monday, July 7th (11:59 PM GMT). Let me know if you spot any errors..
Cheers!
