A quick statement
My plan for this game was simple. I just wanted to run a juggernaut across the board. I approached Russia with this idea and he was keen so we put the wheels in action and started.
Both Russia and I moved against Austria quickly and with Austria attackign Italy, Austria fell quickly.
France was moving on Italy, so my plan was to support Benjy as much as I could and when that no longer worked I would claim the remainder of the boot for myself hoping to get my fleets into position to break the med stalemate as soon as possible. Andres was losing the battle in the north, having lost StP early to england and we knew we would have to break through in germany or it would be lost. We befriended the german and get supporting him against an obvious france - england alliance. I kept contact with France and Andres kept contact with Wngland to try and convince them to break their alliance but also keep the communication flowing between him and myself.
I kept voting down the early draw proposals wanting to get all my fleets lined up along Italy becaise it looked pretty and I was hoping for a slip up from Alan. Alas Alan abandonde the TYR sea (a smart move) and because his fleet was not disbanded - he could easily force a stalemate line.
It was at this point, that Andres moved south fearing a stab (and cost himself a return to Vienna by boucing me back in!)... we quickly talked and I told Andres that I had considered the solo but felt that it was impossible as I could not get Munich and Berlin (numbers 17 and 1
fast enough before france-england could deny them to me. I then propose a 4 way draw which someone else voted down (My guess was England, possibly seeing if he could get russia and i to fight) and then the second one past.

Heya folks.
Peace is declared in Europe as the leaders of the big four agree to a draw. I'm happy to announce a four-way draw between England, France, Russia and Turkey. Congratulations to Steven, Andres, Alan and Robert for their success, and my thanks to all the other players who gave this game their all...
End-of-game (EOG) statements are greatly encouraged. Thanks for the great game everyone!
